@nikkibeedoodle hi if u dnt mind me asking how old are u? ive not long turned 20 and want to take it up and want to go on pointe but i feel too old, am i wrong? im flexiable im a horse rider and chlofanged u look beautiful
Have you purchased therabands yet? If you haven't I'd recommend them to strengthen the outer muscle on your lower leg to help wing your foot and stop you from scycling. I'm an older ballerina too, way beyond ever being able to be a prima or part of a professional company, but I aspire for the tiny companies in my region. You have better chances with your age, hard work and passion :) Good Luck!

You're doing really good for a beginner. Just work on foot flexibility/strength (I know russians are super hard tho) and for echappes think of 'escaping' or digging into the floor when you go out instead of jumping. I used to have the same exact problem with echappes and its just starting to get better.
It's looking good! I think what eefaa09xxx means is that instead of rolling up when rising onto pointe, you tend to jump onto pointe. This is bad for your feet and doesnt look very nice. But you do look quite steady on your shoes, and that's very good!
yeah i gess work on straightening your knees (especially with the echappes) , but i think ur really really good!!! especially 4 a beginner on pointe! u should b proud of ur self!
@chlofanged I think what you are thinking of is what my teacher calls a "snatch". It is sort of like you are replacing your heel with your toe. You still don't jump up onto pointe. Am I making sense?
dont hop onto pointe! very important! you could get injured :) alway roll through :)

@LiLovelyDancer As long as you wear pads it's not too bad! Your toes might get numb and your arches cramp up, but other than that, it's fine.

@eefaa09xxx What do you mean exactly? Because I wasn't trying to roll up, and isn't it sort of like a "jump" :/
