I am not sure what is it about this song. I am partly influenced by the scenes of the video where the movie characters are shown as children. The innocence of first loves, the hope and resignation of the melody and lyrics. If I listened to the song in itself, as one, forgetting the true meaning of its words, I could easily dedicate it to my girlfriend as a declaration of my most humble, sincere and pure love for her. If you notice at the very end of the season finale credits, there was a line that said "The Venture Bros Will Return", probably because the show had only been confirmed for a third and forth season. So hope that helps.
