@Auggie56 In the factory race cars such as this and the coronet they would delete the high beams at the factory and you could drive these off the show room floor (if they had it) without having to be some face racer or a specific brand racer like Ford made you do (you could only get there factory built race cars if you were a Ford racer) but these you could just buy it and drive it up and drive it every day if you wished. Which is one reason Mopar dominated racing from 55-74 especially in drag.

The highbeam headlights were not deleted, all of these cars only had two. Better luck next time!
