  • @portlandmusic

what is the name of that shop and where is it !!!

  • i m not sure if this is the best choice for me. i wanted the re 20, and now i cant make up my mind.. im an old school kid, but i would find an use for dd 20.. daaaaamn!

+i want the rt20... so 600 euros down the drain :/

    greets from Belgrade..

  • I just got one of these after going through 5 line 6 dl4s...

  • a looper is ur best friend if u wanna practice improvs

  • the intro is hilarious

  • dd-20? or dl4?

    please help

  • Question please answer :) is this pedal, DD-20, better than the DD7? advantages or disadvantages?

  • I use this pedal and always use the analog setting myself.

Love that it has a tap tempo built right in.

  • when you say its out put is wet and dry do you mean one channel has the effect and the other doesn't,

I wanted to use the dd20 for my turntables...

  • i might sell mine for a re-20.

  • the DD 20 is definitely beating the DL-4 for me, the value and quality of this thing and what you can do opens a sweet palette to work with. A single guitarist in a band would benefit so much from this.

  • 1:50 + pro sounding

  • This dude is awesome.

  • This is true

  • Is this a better pedal than the dd7, i think it is from what i've heard but on ebay the dd7 goes for more money than the dd20 so I'm a bit confused really. I'm getting rid of my dd3 and dont know which one to get. Any thoughts?

  • I have the dd-6 and the 20...really I would go with the 20, but switching during a gig is quicker with the 7. The 20 however has a digital screen and memory which is much more precise in recovering what you've done before. Plus the 20 has many more functions.

  • its true that boss has done a fair job for the digital delays and has quite functions thats are pre settable i really enjoy my dd20 =D along with 11 other delays i use haha

  • @jakeyboy2929 They both will sound good. You can store 4 settings with the dd20.

  • @jakeyboy2929 DD-20. I have the DD6 and the 20 also and its awesome.

  • HAHAHA, this guy makes me smile! hahahah

  • el paraiso csm!!!

  • giggity

  • LMFAO.

  • Josh Farro uses this, I want one so badly.

  • @Kitaland yeah josh use this i want one for play paramore musics! :D

  • DD-3 is better

  • i recently bought a dd-7 and the looper rocks, i use it along qith a zvex fuzz factory and a dunlop cry baby and it works awesome (along with the reverb and tremolo of my ac30 :D)

  • Can you use this for bass?

  • Yes, Jean Baudin does.

  • I see a lot of people having this pedal and then only using like 500 miliseconds of delay....

IF YOU'RE NOT GOING TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THIS PEDAL, JUST GET SOMETHING MUCH CHEAPER AS MOST STOMP DELAYS HAVE UP TO 2 SECONDS OF DELAY WHICH IS PLENTY FOR MOST PEOPLE!!!

  • Thats unfortunate. Personally i recommed the DD-7, it has up to 40sec of mono looping, 20sec stereo. Several different straight delay settings. A couple funky chorus-y type delays and a reverse delay. the tempo of which can all be set, hands free, with the foot switch.

It's pretty nifty and the price tag is ussually under $150.

  • pretty much any good quality delay/loop

    pedal will be $200+

  • is that a highway one tele?

  • I WANT BUT ITS SO EXPENSIVE!

  • That's really not bad at all considering what you get.

  • true. And if you don't mind sacrificing some extra stuff found on the dd-20, you can get the dd-3, dd-5, or dd-7. dd-3's about half the price of the 20.. it does the essentials. : )

  • hey what should i get? this one or the dd-7? some info..i'm just a hobbyist that is now forming a band.

  • dd-7 is cheaper, but this one is so sexy....but SooOOooOOoo EXPENSIVE (+$200)

  • If it only records 26 seconds how come yours kept on playing?

  • It's called looping

  • So first you can record 26 seconds and then what you record can go for 26 seconds and it keeps on going?

  • hey do i really need a looper pedal can i just get this and have the re delay and reverse and looping?

  • there's not a lot of looping time on this. its only about 20 seconds.

  • I konw its 20 seconds, But how many layers?

  • 23...sry, just sayin. lol

  • It can record up to a 26 second phrase, which will then loop until you stop it. It also delays up to 26 seconds, meaning that you can play a note, and 26 seconds later it will repeat, then 26 seconds after that...

  • its 23 not 26

  • damn nice shop!

  • how much?

  • what do u find better this or the line6 dl3 delay modeler?

  • dont do the dl3 do the dl4 along side of this one for the a wall of delay

    thats just my opinion

  • you should seriously host "Nights" with Matt Iddings on an after hours radio station time slot! you have the best voice of all time.

Nice playing too. You seem like you've known that pedal your whole life. I get the impression that you are a master of this particular breed of machinery.

  • Nice presentation. I have to get my hands on a RE-20.

  • I bought this pedal a few months ago. Nice delays, but I noticed a lot of Hissss, Hum and other weird noises coming out of this twinpedal... Even when I used batteries or the original Boss adapter I had this problem. So I sold it and bought a DD3 and a DD5...

  • hmmmm....weird, ours was perfectly clean

  • i've read a lot of places that its caused by using the typical boss PSA120 power adapter. Apparently its just not enough juice, get something with a little more umph to it and the problem is usually fixes the problem

  • It maybe this.

I have a DD-20 too, and never encountered such problem with my Big John power unit.

I also have a Line6 Echo Park wich needs more much current than the DD-20, it almost requires one adaptor alone !

  • great vid bro, but I was wondering, can you overdub the loop an have a lot of layers?

  • yes, you can layer indefinitely in a 23 sc loop

  • just a lovely combo - Vox amp and DD-20 by the sound of it. Didn't know it had the warp function found in the DD-6 too. great stuff.

  • Hi Matt, I was in the morning before you made this video. I ended up buying a DD-20 and I absolutely love it. Thanks!

  • That pedal is super cool. Is it kind of like the one that KT Tunstall uses?

  • No, but you got the idea. The best and easiest pedal for looping is the RC-20. You can record up to 16 mns across 11 memory presets. The DD-20 is first and foremost a very advanced delay pedal with a 23 secs looping feature.

I believe she uses the AKAI E2 headrush pedal but you achieve the same result with the RC20.
