I memorize colors instead of sticker letters, but I see how this is faster.
And I change the colors into words, but they're completely nonsensical. Like for the WG edge I think winterfresh, because winterfresh gum is white and green. Also, for the YG edge I think Yggdrasil, the tree that connects all the worlds in norse mythology. It's the only word I could think of that has a Y then a G.
i think the colour code is better it works really effective on me...for edge i uses the initial of the colour like RG or GR for red green, green red and the order of them does matter, i think stefan pochmann also uses this method but he do make stories of it
hey erik, i'm having some trouble doing this thing that comes up. it's basically the parity, but it doesn't show up at the end. am i supposed to execute the edge parity alg then the R perm, or do something else?
letters like qbcvrt are not easy to remember...memorizing letters like these quickly is extremely hard....so how do you guys memorize the cube in under a minute
You can turn those letters in to words or pictures. I am not good in English, so I can't turn those letters in to words or letters quicly, but if I do it in my language, it would go faster
completely outa the picture but hav u reached 10th prestige yet or u stoped playin coz ur 360 is still borken , lolz. anyway bk to it. this video is top notch EricZZZ =P
Oh my GOD, Eric! Would you HURRY?!!! I'm salivating for the corners memorization video. I've checked out several blind solve tutorials and nobody's is even close to as good as yours. You've got an excellent knack for teaching. You better be going to school to be college professor or something or I'll hunt you down and choke some sense into you. JK (excuse the violent reference, I just think you ought to be a teacher, because you're very intelligent and very good at breaking things down)
idk, maybe at competition, they strap your feet to the floor :). what you could also do is while you're memorizing, you could keep track of flipped centers and think of the opposite letter in the memo itself. i don't think im going to use letters to memorize, I might just tap my fingers on each sticker I need to move
It actually works by tapping but it's really time consuming. For example you want to go over what you've remembered and you have to literally tap where they need to go. You could have gone over the same thing several times in your head in the time you needed to revise it once.
If you don't like letters use a different way to memorize
M2 is reeeeeeeeeeaaaaallly hard, man. You have explained it really good, but im the one with problem. im still having a hard time solving parity cases on the m Layer. oh wtf. if i mastered this, i'll be sub 2 in no time. thanks for this eric!!
haha don't give up man. I know it can be confusing and annoying at first, but it's a really good method, and definitely worth learning. There might be other videos that explain it better, or I'm sure there's some sites (I learned it from a friend so I can't say i know any myself). But yeah just stick with it and it gets easier.
yeah. because i think achieving a sub2 with 2 cycle corners+ old pochman edge is hard. m2 is definitely faster. you think 2-cycle corners+M2 will work? *practices m2*
the cake is a lie...

I think letters memorization can be improved if you link to any couple of letters 1 item, easier to remember.

Okay, so you solve the edges and you have done an odd number of y perms. What do you do then?

Letters ARE easy to remember. If you used to memorize with numbers, you can see the difference.

nice video man:)
another method to keep tracking the M slice is to take use of your feet. Foot down = centers correct, Foot up= Centers wrong
It helped me:)

Yep, that works too. I tried it at first but it got distracting haha :P
