i hear you degraves but i disagree. Ben killed him for the sole reason that he killed his daughter. No thought process. No planning. No other reason. Thats what makes the scene so great, Ben's disregard for the consequences of his actions.

I really wonder how Keamy could think that blowing the ship would even bother Ben. I mean, Ben wouldn't leave his hiding place to save the girl he called his daughter. Why would he save strange people on a ship?

Keamy was definitely not the most brilliant character. I was a little disappointed.

I think Keamy was supposed to be just kind of a tough, dumb, bulldog of a character. He was never supposed to be intellectual competition to Ben- when he one-ups Ben, it's simply due to brute force and a lack of empathy.

Ben killed Keamy for 3 reasons. To revenge his daughter, Keamy was immune to Ben because he is a stalwart, and Ben wanted to destroy the boat. Remember the submarine and Ben's twisted view of promises. Ben didn't want the survivors to leave so he killed Keamy. Does anyone really think Ben is a impulsive person. Ben has patience and would of thought 10 steps ahead before killing anyone.

Love it. Ben always gets the last word in. I loved the way he leaned over and looked at keamy and told him " Not if I find him first" right before Keamy took his last breath. Ben is on bad mutha. he is also quite deadly with that baton. Even Sayid couldnt take down Keamy with all his military training

If they took it off, there's a high probability that disconnecting it from Keamy would result in the monitor misinterpreting it as a flatline. So even if they somehow managed to get it off him, it would only make it go off a few seconds early.

It doesn't seem fitting that Ben would kill Keamy with brute force. Keamy had already been established as the resident "Terminator". Not Even Sayid was a match for him. Ben's M.O. is cunning and manipulation, not brute stregnth. It would have made more sense for him to trick Keamy into some terrible demise. To draw a "Superman" parralel this is like Lex Luthar beating Doomsday to death with his fists. It just doesn't work.

This scene doesn't work at all. The dialouge was so cliche even three great actors like Kevin Durand, Michael Emerson and Terry O'Quinn couldn't make it compelling. Also, Keamy was dead. Was it really necessary to bring him back for one last scene, just so that Ben could be the one who killed him? It seemed cheesey, and B-Movieish. I expected more from Lost.

He thought Ben would care about the Freighter, afterall he does have a spy on it, he was hoping to use this to get Ben to come with him, he said about his daughter to show that he was serious about blowing up the freighter. :D
