our tryouts were in april and i made it! heres some helpful hints: rite after you learn something at tryout camp video tape it wile its fresh on ur mind and u can look at it when reviewing later. also at the actual tryout make sure u r smiling the entire time even when ur not doing anything the judges are always looking! you should get together with a girl trying out who is a "shoe-in" for the team and practice with her or get a lesson with a private coach just to clean your tumbling ,jumps,etc.

I'm back (: Okay, I cheer for most of the sports at my school. I was just using football as an example because that's the thing cheering is mostly compared to. By saying oh football is a sport, I was just saying that because it was the first thing that came to mind. All I'm saying is that, don't try and tell girls who have been cheering for their entire life that the sport they play, isn't a sport. Competition cheering is ridiculous. I can't stand it when people say that cheerleading isn't sport. Cheerleaders probably get hurt more than football players. I know from experience. I've been cheering since I was like a 5 and I know how hard it is. Last year, since I fly, I broke my arm, sprained my ankle and have gotten I don't know how many bruises. How is RAMMING INTO SOMEONE a sport. And yes, I'm talking about football. Try and do what we do everyday, then tell me cheerleading isn't a sport. In reality, you probably couldn't.
