I used to write my "representatives" all the time in Indiana. I finally gave up.

I always got form letters back just like this one.

At the end of each letter I got I would be basically told, "I don't give a shit what the people who elected me think. I am going to do whats best for ME and to HELL with you!"

Knowing how politics work in real time, I can tell you that his office staff wrote that letter, and that he just signed off on it, trusting in his chief of staff, who isn't elected to office, rather hired, and surely doesn't give a crap about you.

US held offices, as well as many state level offices are operated this way, where the representative almost never writes the letter.

I had asked him to vote NO on the fake bailout/amnesty program. (Actually , The Fleecing of America 700 Billion Bailout which is now up to around 8 TRILLION)
