@GuildCarver did you do this? if you did did it blow your springs? cause if you did a way you could avoid this is get 2 sets of new shocks, yes i know you might waste a set if its too heavy. but if you get 2 sets and you dont blow the new springs you can put the second set on the front. i plan on doing this during the end of this school year being my senoir year
No unfortunately I was not able to do it I couldn't get my hands on a large enough tarp. But next time I plan on doing this I am planning ahead and going to measure out how much my truck can hold then factor that out 8 pounds to the gallon so yeah.
@GuildCarver nice you should make a vid of how to do it for the people who arent sure or havent seen the manswers version of it. but if you ahve a long bed it is kinda a bitch to get a big enough tarp cause is good to have around 8-10 inches on outside of bed of truck for stability. short beds you dont ahve to do any math at all i know it will hold full of water i had a tarp in my dads and it sat out for about a week (it absolutly poured all week) and it held no problem with orig springs
Weight of water 64 lbs per cubic foot
4x8x2 x 64 =4096 lbs
be carefull !!!

I heard Phil talk about this, I didn't know they were doing the Downriver Cruise though. It looks better than I imagined!

@UBBERTANKER
It does make us look bad, I agree. In our defense, the building that spot is for was a vacant doctor's office.
