@KH3fan101 -- I don't know if I'm the only one, but to me it seems like his guilt and terror of "killing" his wife triggered a kind of DID (dissociative identity disorder) which allows him to do work that he doesn't want to. The changes in voice, posture, expressions... very DID-like.
