This was a B side to "Single" casset tape back in the day, from the amount of views we can see not many even know about it. What a great song though, thanks for posting it!!!!
Reality shows, The Net, American Idol, etc.--He did see it all coming and we weren't ready then but I'm sure we're ready everyday now LOL!--Great comments 06mets & visionarydreams from Mikey!5*stars&faved!
That's an awesome video from an awesome band!! I have all of their cds. Warmer Side of Cool is my favorite by them. It was a far stretch from anything they had done before..
Love this song. Bought the CD of this song (Warmer Side Of Cool) back in 1990. Album is outstanding (Sonicly, Lyrics, Music). First time seeing video. Thanks 4 posting.
Wow. I never saw this video before, but it speaks to me today, 2007, or "1984" if you will. Today's New York Times DealBook e-mail newsletter suggested David Geffen (owns this record label) and his partner at Dreamworks, are in talks with NBC Universal, although they refuse to confirm it. They've had a falling out with Paramount.
I simply don't understand why this song didn't make that much of an impact in 1989. Really, the song talks about how popular things are nothing but fads; they come and go, even religion. It's very thought-provoking when you actually sit down and listen to it. My favorite song from my favorite literally speaks for itself.
When people started exploiting MTV for their 15 minutes... er, seconds (excuse me) of fame. Wang Chung was smart because they didn't decide to piss away their career by trying to do something they weren't comfortable with. They knew their limitations, and I respect them for that.
tuvieron que pasar 20 años pa volver a escuchar esta rola

There's a ton of good songs on "The Warmer Side of Cool", you really need to listen to it. I saw these guys live, and it was a great show.

Synthesised bass on this is incredible. Peter Wolf's golden touch.

Every minute of the day I start praying to a new God - so I figure "Salvation" can't be all that far away!

I diasgree. If the rest of the disc had been more like this one, it might have been a more successful disc.
