The English subtitles are inaccurate, misleading, and often out and out incorrect. These 2 qawwalis are separate ones from the movie "Barsaat ki Raat" and not two parts of one. It was a competition, though not between genders, as is often the case in Qawwali performances.

The best qawwali in Hindi movies ever is also from this movie, It is 17 minutes long and is called "Na to caravan ki talaash hai".
