It needed work and I didn't have the time, I only put new rings on the old pistons, and that was a bad move, even though I honed the cylinders, I can't get the rings to seat, so it's blowing oil out the crank pulley, and I need to put a wideband on it, and put a real distributor in it, or anything that's better than a stock dist. points and coil... cause it's practically only tuned by ear and spark plug color...
It's an 1835cc with a CB off road special cam, and about 8:1 compression ratio, CB 044 heads 44x37.5 valves, no dyno runs, no track time, about 5 gals of fuel through it... needs more run time, and I need to check the A/F ratio, and make sure the timing is right... lots of timing scatter, I'm looking into the ford EDIS system
