When we witness, it is very important that we be led by the Holy Spirit. We cant be blinded by wanting to witness every time we want to, but we have to witness according to God's timing. For example, I witnessed to a lady on my job about 2 years ago. She seemed uncomfortable and annoyed, so I backed off. A year later, I felt the Holy Spirit tell me to witness to her again. She ended up accepting Jesus. We have to be led by the Spirit, not ourselves.

Hey, I appreciate all your vids and always look for the next one. I abandoned my faith several times. I was LUKEWARM I only recently have opened my eyes again. I suspected that all these things were signsof the times . So let me cut to the chase here. I am a sinner. I try to be good & thank God & obey his commandments. I do not want to spend eternity in darkness,yet do not understand the Gospel enough to share it. What can I do? What can others like me do?
@vintagelifelover I would advise getting involved with a Bible believing church and ask the pastor to set someone to mentor you. I did something similar and it helped me realize my position in Christ. Just make sure the church teaches the gospel of eternal life through Jesus Christ.
One girl that called Christians "Bible Thumpers" just lost her husband to suicide last week. Hmmm and supposedly he did it in front of thier church, which surprised me that they went to church! So, don't know if it was just a church or thier church. Left behind children. Sad. We can witness just by LIVING the life, daily. I know how you feel because I'm in the same position - but now I've had the revelation I start to worship on Friday sundown - which starts the Sabbath and on Saturday I do no regular work, as it says, and I read the Bible and pray. It's a time to be intimate with God and enjoy His creation, as He did on the very 1st Sabbath. There's nothing to stop you worshipping again on Snday as long as you keep His day for Him.

I too have been doing some research on what God says about lukewarm Christians and if some will be left behind during the rapture, I really dont want to be left behind and have been trying to figure out what God wants from me and what he expects of me. I know youve noticed all the earthquakes and hurricanes, and is it just me or does it seem like its almost a weekly and sometimes daily occurrence? Surely we have to be close to the end of times. @zestyguy87: I think we are in year 8 counting down. Psalm 90 says a generation is 70 yrs. May 1948 Israel became a nation and started the clock. The peace treaty of Daniel 9:27 that starts the last 7 yrs will be confirmed by May 2011, but the rapture comes first. Even if the rapture is not Sep 9-10 I still believe it will be in 2010.

@stevey65: the "tribulation" is the last 7 yrs of a 490 yr punishment given to the Hebrews by God 600 years before Christ. 483 yrs have been served. This time period is for the salvation of the Jews. It is not for Christians under grace. Read Daniel ch9. The "tribulation" starts with the treaty of Daniel 9:27 the two-state solution explained in Rev 11:1-2. That treaty will be made by May 2011 but the rapture must happen first.

I'll admit, I'm not by any means, an expert on who will be raptured and who won't. I said I wasn't going to discuss it in the video because honestly, it's beyond my understanding.
If you base it off of the parable of the 10 virgins and Jesus' statement to the lukewarm Laodiceans, it would seem that the rapture is not guaranteed to all that are saved. It's more of a reward for obedience.

@firecharger: I have a theory that the 7 churches in Revelation 3 are also seven possible spiritual states of being. Not all of them get raptured so I am afraid you are right. It appears that being saved and being raptured may not be 100% contiguous. I think we will find out very soon! I keep thinking I'm going to hear a big ruckus of cars crashing and people screaming and I won't even have to look. I will already know what happened and that I'll be here to face the Trib!

Ok, good stuff, Firecharger - but what about keeping the Sabbath? When do you worship? If you are a Sunday worshipper you are following the beast system (Rome). Saturday is the true Sabbath - check in a dictionary if in doubt. It is the seventh day and we are to keep it according to the 4th commandment.

Today is the 22/2/2011 and as you have probably seen on the news or by other means, the massive earthquake in Christchurch wich totally destroyed the church there and 60 + lives lost. When we witness, it is very important that we be led by the Holy Spirit. We cant be blinded by wanting to witness every time we want to, but we have to witness according to God's timing. For example, I witnessed to a lady on my job about 2 years ago. She seemed uncomfortable and annoyed, so I backed off. A year later, I felt the Holy Spirit tell me to witness to her again. She ended up accepting Jesus. We have to be led by the Spirit, not ourselves.

@vintagelifelover I would advise getting involved with a Bible believing church and ask the pastor to set someone to mentor you. I did something similar and it helped me realize my position in Christ. Just make sure the church teaches the gospel of eternal life through Jesus Christ.

One girl that called Christians "Bible Thumpers" just lost her husband to suicide last week. Hmmm and supposedly he did it in front of thier church, which surprised me that they went to church! So, don't know if it was just a church or thier church. Left behind children. Sad. We can witness just by LIVING the life, daily. They will see something in our lives they want...ask about it and then we can share. I don't "buttonhole" people. Turns them off.

Just another thought..could Peter be talking about the jews and christians as the whole house of God? Because I was sitting here thinking about the Word of God and after the rapture Jesus judges the church (bema judgement) then during the Trib. God points his directoin back to his orginal people..the jews. Could Peter be talking about the Final Judgement when the unsaved are judged? which happens after the 1,000 year reign of Christ. So, the house of God was judged first!! just a thought. :)

After taking a very long time to find a church that I knew would teach from the Bible and not sugarcoat the messages I finally found one. Funny thing is the church is right around the corner from my house. God works in mysterious ways.
There is alot of talk going around about the rapture being very close...I am worried that the same thing will happen that has happened in the past and people will take it as proof that God does not exist. Hopefully not.

New zealand earthquake was definitely a sign. It was the same magnitude (if not higher) than haiti's, yet nobody was killed, as far as I know. God is GREAT! I know how you feel because I'm in the same position - but now I've had the revelation I start to worship on Friday sundown - which starts the Sabbath and on Saturday I do no regular work, as it says, and I read the Bible and pray. It's a time to be intimate with God and enjoy His creation, as He did on the very 1st Sabbath. There's nothing to stop you worshipping again on Snday as long as you keep His day for Him.

I too have been doing some research on what God says about lukewarm Christians and if some will be left behind during the rapture, I really dont want to be left behind and have been trying to figure out what God wants from me and what he expects of me. I know youve noticed all the earthquakes and hurricanes, and is it just me or does it seem like its almost a weekly and sometimes daily occurrence? Surely we have to be close to the end of times. @zestyguy87: I think we are in year 8 counting down. Psalm 90 says a generation is 70 yrs. May 1948 Israel became a nation and started the clock. The peace treaty of Daniel 9:27 that starts the last 7 yrs will be confirmed by May 2011, but the rapture comes first. Even if the rapture is not Sep 9-10 I still believe it will be in 2010.

Amen, I was just studying 2 Thessalonians, and it seems like the Thessalonian church was trying to kick back in laziness in chapter 3, being disorderly and not working because they thought Jesus was returning so soon, but Paul rebuked it and commanded, hey, you don't work, you don't eat. @stevey65: the "tribulation" is the last 7 yrs of a 490 yr punishment given to the Hebrews by God 600 years before Christ. 483 yrs have been served. This time period is for the salvation of the Jews. It is not for Christians under grace. Read Daniel ch9. The "tribulation" starts with the treaty of Daniel 9:27 the two-state solution explained in Rev 11:1-2. That treaty will be made by May 2011 but the rapture must happen first.

I'll admit, I'm not by any means, an expert on who will be raptured and who won't. I said I wasn't going to discuss it in the video because honestly, it's beyond my understanding.
If you base it off of the parable of the 10 virgins and Jesus' statement to the lukewarm Laodiceans, it would seem that the rapture is not guaranteed to all that are saved. It's more of a reward for obedience.
People are probably going to tear my opinion apart on this. Again, I'm not an expert.

@firecharger: I have a theory that the 7 churches in Revelation 3 are also seven possible spiritual states of being. Not all of them get raptured so I am afraid you are right. It appears that being saved and being raptured may not be 100% contiguous. I think we will find out very soon! I keep thinking I'm going to hear a big ruckus of cars crashing and people screaming and I won't even have to look. I will already know what happened and that I'll be here to face the Trib!

The 7 churches can actually be applied historically to the church. The 1st one was the apostle's church, the 2nd was persecuted, etc, etc, and the 7th Laodicean church is this generation.

God is so good to give us signals and warnings. I share Christ with family and friends and I have family that avoids me and friends that are really uncomfortable about the subject. At least they know I won't lie to them. Come quickly Lord Jesus!

The bride saints could be called up at any time, and I fully agree with your use of Luke 21:36 ... remember also the "garment" of Matthew 22:1-14 (the wedding parable) in which the unprepared FRIEND is *speechless* when asked why he isn't properly dressed, and is then shut out. What's going to "change us" in that moment is the fire within, and I believe that is the baptism of Jesus, with utterance in other tongues. Jesus bless.

Ok, good stuff, Firecharger - but what about keeping the Sabbath? When do you worship? If you are a Sunday worshipper you are following the beast system (Rome). Saturday is the true Sabbath - check in a dictionary if in doubt. It is the seventh day and we are to keep it according to the 4th commandment.

@asw36hgl: if you are going to keep the law you will be judged based on the law. There is not set time for worship for those not under the law. We are to be praying constantly. If you are under the law then you aren't accepting Christ' sacrifice to sancify you!

@asw36hgl And we are also commanded to keep God's holy days (see Leviticus 23 which describes all of them). Christmas and Easter are pagan. Most Sunday keeping 'Christians' don't realize who they really are - Israelites of the lost 10 tribes. Israel was divided into 2 houses, the house of Israel and the house of Judah. Dear bro., let also be the joy of the Lord be your strength! Family is always difficult to reach. When my mother still lived a couple of years ago, she confirmed to me that some of my brothers didn't visit me because they did not like - or were afraid - for me talking about God/Jesus and the Gospel. Keep on praying for them, because behold He comes quickly!

Glad you spoke on the condition of the church, I see people constantly, who claim christianity, but are oblivious to the times, are obliviouse to the fact that God is a God of Absolutes, not some bendable, character who is swayed by social climates. His Word is Stone, not clay. Heard some great sermons by Paris Reidhead, Ten Shekels and a Shirt...old time truth that explains the loss of Gods Word, in what is called the 'church'- -dont worry about your brother-similar experience, he is Saved now.

The book only takes about 2-3 days to read, and is the first book of its kind directly comparing every aspect of Islamic and Christian eschatology. It is amazing to see such a direct parallel, albeit inverted even down to a very detailed level.

It came out in 2009. I've heard what Perry Stone has to say too, but he draws different conclusions about specific parallels, and honestly Stone doesn't seem to be a real scholar. He is over dramatic and draws conclusions that I just cant. Have you heard some of the stuff Perry Stone talks about? A lot of it is based on concepts that have been totally debunked. I don't know about you, but after wading through a lot of his content I'm having a hard time taking that guy seriously.

praying for lost people to be saved is more effective than forcing the gospel on them...you can't force anyone into the Kingdom. share your faith, if they reject it, pray and ask God to soften their hearts and reveal Himself to them...in a way they can't deny!
