I tried learning the 3rd movement when I was taking piano lessons but i had to stop because we couldnt afford lessons anymore, anyway I picked up bass and cello on my own and this piece still remains one of my all time favorites and you bass skills are a force to be reckoned with!

I don`t have any tabs. I`ve learned it by my ears, and now don`t have it on a paper. But You can find - without any problems - piano notes or guitar tabs on the net, and then translate it on a bass.

I think you might find some easier fingering options with a 6 or 7 string, although sometimes the tone sacrifices a bit.

My english is bad, i´m learning, sorry. But i think each instrument has its own language, for this, i think this piece can only be played on piano. The bass can´t hold the low notes and can´t hold the melody too. Therefore I believe that each instrument should play their own repertoire. this pieces in bass souns very bad.
