In regards to Key animes Air is very sad, and Clannad too, but Clannad and Kanon have happy endings.

Another sad anime (not from key) is Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien I recommend it =)

Well you see, Clannad had an AWESOME beginning! when that character got "handled", it basically turned into a typical harem series disguised as a Key series...

It was a real shame because they didn't even finish the story, when they really could've!!!

After Story wasted the first 8 episodes on characters that didn't even matter! the next 5 were pretty good, and the last four were the best in BOTH series. The last episode happened to be perfect, but it didn't have to take TWO series...

NO way........ Clannad was a masterpiece. Hands down the best anime made so far. I shed a tear in Air, Kanon my eyes just welled up. I was flooding in Clannad. I'd say first Clannad then Kanon then Air. But Air and Kanon are really close

I just finished this last night, IT WAS AWESOME!!! it didn't have a sad ending and you also see Makoto (fox) in the end. In my opinion I like Kanon better than Air and Clannad. I'll miss this anime...

Negima, its kinda by the same guy who did love hina...its about a 10year old teacher whom is a mage at an all girls school, it was funny and became really sad at the end...the anime was really good, but I would recommend the manga since it's an ongoing series...also "Serial Experiments lain" was really good, kinda older 98-99 but really good
