Well, yeah. Accents can be hard to nail down. Sophia's faded in the first episode when she told the TA that she needed a cell phone. It amazes me how many actors can go on and on in an American accent that isn't natural without skipping a beat. Hugh Laurie, Alan Cummings, Sam Neil, Mel Gibson... the list just goes on and on, and I'm deeply impressed by each of them.
