I'm fully aware that HP does not make processors. I just thought it was funny to read in the description "packed with PROVEN technology. I mean seriously... You could put an old northwood P4 in a computer and say it was packed with "Proven" technology. The current code name for the next generation of Intel processors is "Gulftown".

I suspect they'll be marketed as i9.

the cpu does not suck at all. don't be fooled by " pentium dual core' this is a true core 2 dua with less 1mb cache. INTEL just likes to rename things weirdly . This cpu beats e7400 ( core 2 duo)
