AMD Athlon II 645 @ 3.10 GHz(4 core) vs your 1.6GHz double core. And I bet you have integrated GPU aswell which is one of the reason why your laptop can't run RS well. Oh and I built the PC myself, so that's why I got it cheap, I'd recommend you to do the same unless you want to get ripped off everytime you buy a computer. Btw, my girlfriends laptop costs about 300€ and even that better than yours.

@Nemmyzz LOL there is not way a quad core 3.10 GHz computer is $200..... If you have an actual tower not a laptop i could maybe understand if u got one on boxing day but if you didn't know laptops are not well priced compared to actual tower PCs. I am thinking of building my own pc but it is pretty expensive either way... I can play mw2 on my laptop at 50 fps but i can only play runescape at 15-20??? i have 0 lag on WoW but i just dont understand it's only runescape that lags...

@link19a in rs the server is fucked up, which is causing the lag it has nothing to do with your computer. When they did the bot nuking day they fucked the servers up and they have to do alot of recoding to get them back to normal.
