my comment bout this song is that people are caught up following everybody else i was in love with krs's from day one he has lyrical content (lyrics!!!) period he always had somethin to say! Rather it was fun serious or political he covered it all. todays rappers too busy appealing to just the younger crowd spit out nothin important or repeating the same thing over and over again.
Edutainment is a vastly underrated album by BDP. When this came out in 1990, I remember initial knocks on it for its preachy nature. Well, that's what defined BDP and KRS-1. Instructional entertainment...entertainment with purpose and meaning in other words Edutainment.
if only them lil punks that on the radio now would represent like this, yall would not walk around wif ya drawz showin. lil wayne, gucci man, kanye, kiss my ass...
@BRAZEN08 - Krs was not just ahead of time, KRS was and STILL is WAY ahead of time! :)...Soulja Boy is 30 years behind KRS and the boy dropped 3 years ago!

Similar beat to "What You Want This Time?" by Gang Starr. I'm pretty sure it's the same sample :)

this was the song that helped me defeat racism in the 90s

Racism is a monument to ignorance.
Bigotry is the residue of fear.
Hopefully someday we'll unlock this part of our psyche,a psyche indoctrinated and moulded since the beginning of time for those who wish to control.
Divide and conquer.
The age old strategem that still resounds today.
Fuckin daft bunch of idiots.
Top of the foodchain and yet we cant figure this out?
Help them understand, the racist aint equal.
Givem a hug ffs!
