when your married to a man who cheats on you as I was he even picked up woman in front of me...he hit me as well...I divorced him and that is the best thing I ever did...He was not a christian I was but I married him before I became one...anyone who tells someone that divorce is never an option is not going on biblical truths...if they hit or cheat God will love to see you out of the relationship!

Staying out of (physical) harm's way is clearly an accepted biblical principle. If a boulder was falling down hill and you were in the way, you would move. You would get out of harm's way. But there is no acceptance of the false doctrine of divorce and remarriage in the teachings of Jesus. Clearly there is a distinction between leaving and divorcing and remarrying. @HMFamilyLife I am not into legalism I don't believe this is the truth...the bible teaches in mathew that if your spouce commits fornication against you that you are free to remrry I already know about the deep south christians in the usa who haven't figured out yet that Jesus was not religious!
