Most of Madonnas stuff looked like a street waif and later, something you could get at Sears. Bozzio's were home made from things like "lamay" and packing plastic. Bozzio reminds me of neither of those other two. She sounded and looked much different.

The Clash in a helicopter, Bono climbing the scaffels, Michael Hutchence skipping down the stage, Chrissy Amplett doing kart wheels, Dale, Berlin, Van Halen, Bowie, Ozzy and at least 20 other bands. The best concert EVER!!!

The things that made this band are the great music of course, but also the great lyrics( "you don't know what you just read"), and Dale's articulate singing...She had a Diana Ross type of voice (another super successful diva) high pitched soprano and articulate

As much as I love Missing Persons & they & the song take me back to a wonderful era, does anyone else who watched this video think that there is lip-synching involved? There were a couple instances where she pulls the mic away from her mouth, yet her voice audio level stays exactly the same...

@YooBoob The mix is great, almost too perfect to be true, but I couldn't detect any lip-syncing, and I looked very carefully (watch 2:20-2:40.) The musical talent of this band is awesome. Also, the US Festival was a super big concert so the talent behind the recording mixing board were people at the top of their game, and so was Missing Persons' :-) I miss them.

I loved Missing Persons back in the day. I can see a lot of Dale in Lady Gaga. Let us not forget Madonna, Moloko and even David Bowie have greatly influenced Lady Gaga. It all builds on one another to shape what comes next in the pop world.

This was totally live to those who don't think so. The Rock bands were not using lip sync stuff in this setting. We got pure live sound from these bands. I hope this thing comes to DVD eventually. That would be awesome.

The quality seemed too good to be live so I suspected that they were lip-syncing. However, I tried syncing the original recording to this video and they will not sync. She also transposes the lines "It's a funny thing; am I all alone" and "It's a sorry state; I think to myself" in the second verse. So it would have to be a different recording with that mistake in it (very unlikely). I'm certain it's live.
