  • Seems to me that you could have given every man, woman and child in the USA a million bucks and it would have been cheaper than any stimulus or so called Jobs Bill that you all have come up with. Heck!! Make a two million.

  • @tkca25 ... Seems to me you failed 2nd grade math. Giving $1 million to all 300 million people in this country would cost $300,000,000,000,000. Now, I know this may come as a shock to you, but 300 trillion is MORE than 800 billion. For the sake of all Americans, I hope you're not old enough to vote.

  • @emantabrizi Um. 1 x 300 million is 300 million.

  • @tkca25 ... Very good. What does that have to do with anything?

  • @emantabrizi Just correcting your math. 300 million is a lot less than 800 billion and the 300,000,000,000,000 of your math calculations. I must admit, your calculations seem to be right in line with Wasserman and every other Dem - inflated.

  • @tkca25 ... Is it even possible that you're this retarded? Giving $1 million each to 300 million people equals $300 trillion. My GOD, you are fucking stupid!

  • @emantabrizi try again. 1 x 300 million = 300 million.

  • @tkca25 ... LOL, you've got to be fucking with me. There's no way you're this stupid. Please tell me you're not American.

  • @emantabrizi Not once did you offer to show me the math. Instead, you just called me fucking stupid. What has happened to all of us that we don't stop to find the root of the problem and try to find solutions? Why have we just skipped the helping part and have, instead, chose to go straight for the kill? How are we ever going to come together if we can't stop ourselves long enough to try to understand what each of us is saying? I apologize if you think I was just fucking with you.

  • @tkca25 ... You're not just stupid. You're blind, as well. I showed you the math in my very first post. In what other way could I possibly show you the math? Here, how's this...how many zeroes are in 1,000,000? Did you get six? Good. Now, how many zeroes are in 300,000,000? Did you get eight? Good. Now, what's 3 times 1? Did you get three? Great. Now, write the number "3" followed by 14 zeroes. What do you get? 300,000,000,000,000? Oh. My. God.

  • Man, you sure do learn a lot from watching youtube! haha It's true. That's why I like it! but this is an absolutely a favorite now haha

  • Cutting taxes was not what got us into this mess. The Bush tax cuts were for everyone, not just the rich. What got us into this mess is 911, Katrina and economic fall out from both. Both Democrats and Republicans should have cut spending in others areas and allow the market to work.

  • 1. 911 ,,,at the very least they were guilty of NO security meetings in the 8 months before 911, and maybe much more , building 7 ? 2. in between 911 and Katrina , you forgot to mention Iraq and Afganistan .

    3. Katrina , they could not have responded in a worse way , they made our country look like a 3rd world country .

4 sqandered 10 years of projected surplusses , left us with 10 years of defecits .

    5.

    6.

    7.

    etc .

    etc .

  • True, having a meeting would have prevented 911. You have got to love those meetings, No one is doing anything without a meeting.

True, we have fought the war of terrorism in Iraq and Afghanistan. The cost of another 911 would have been 10 times more than the cost of both wars.

Katrina was a disaster of tremendous proportions. There was no way to prepare for such a thing. The state and local officials were incompetent. Blaming that on President Bush is just wrong.

  • Katrina damages could have been prevented, because of model scenarios that were run ahead of time they knew what could happen if a hurricane of that magnitude came through.. there was money budgeted for the army of engineers to do extensive work on those levys to bring them up to standard. Bush took that money out and put it somewhere else leaving the people in NO with their butts flapping in the breeze.

  • (continue) So the money that should have been spent was not and it will end up costing more in the end in human carnage and to repair the damage

  • If you're a billionaire you could buy a new car with what you saved from the Bush tax cuts. If you are a middle class working stiff like myself you could buy hub caps. The Bush tax cuts were to appease the rich at the expense of the middle class.

  • Total lie...and you know it. Obviously people who make more would benefit more.

  • Why is the whole idea of doing something on principle is wrong? The reason for not wanting the more is that the strings attached to the money.

  • Thanks for posting this vid, I thought it was very good and wanted to share it. I guess the GOP threw Jindal a bone (the counter to the not-really-state-of -the-union speech spot he fetched).

  • Jindal's hip-hopping across the country right now, seeking campaign contributions (for the 2012 election?) from people who are apparently throwing their money out the window. Jindal may be liked in Louisiana by the backward-thinking, but when he steps out of his backwoods state -- which supported McCain, the loser -- reality is going to hit him hard. He would stand until hell freezes over with the GOP, no matter how unethical or immoral a scheme; the little guys can go to hell in his view.

  • Jindal will see how his message fails when he ventures out of the backwoods. His views are nutty....

  • I don't think we need to "come together" at all. It's time to use the nuclear option. Eliminate the filibuster, push the Republicans aside, and get this country moving forward again.

  • Witholding unemployment for part-time workers does not make much sense to me. I do think the governors are grandstanding, though.

  • repubs will do anything to make Obama fail, including starving their own people.

  • did the big words make your head hurt?

  • no, the crude redundancy did. our elected officials ought to have a modicum of ability when it comes to constructing a sentence

  • Bipartisanship.

Why doesn't anybody say the truth about that? That to the Republicans it has ALWAYS meant to do what THEY say? It was so with Bush. Uniter, not divider. He started by giving a trillion to the rich and was surprised the Democrats did not kiss his butt in gratitude.

Fiscal "conservative" my foot. And now they want to try to reclaim the title of fiscal conservatives. Only fools and madmen could believe it.
