I've read something, it's for real. You do know that "climategate" was effectively debunked don't you? Do you know that the "mini ice age" and "medieval warming period" are distractions and don't put a dent in the mounds of data, hightly corroborated between disciplines such as geology, meteorology, physics, and oceanography, that point to anthropogenic global warming? Do you know that physicists have been aware of greenhouse gasses and possible climatic effects since the 1950s?

@GWfarce69 It wasn't a leftist blog, you should double check that. Scientists studying climate don't look at fluctuations from one year to the next the way you think they do. So, 2008 may have been the coolest year since 2000, but it is still the 9th warmest year on record. And, the ten warmest years on record have happened since 1997.

our "record" of accurate global temps is 30 yrs old, so that alone is a joke
but since 1979, the planet maxed out at around 0.6C warming over a 30 yr period, and we start this record right at the end of a natural cooling period. One could argue that the small amount of warming was a mere recovery from the cold spell in the 70s.
But now ALL of the warming is gone! There is no trend, warm or cool

1. No the 'decline' was an APPARENT (not actual) decline in temperatures seen after 1960 if you use tree ring data. After 1960 these data no longer track temperatures. Google 'divergence problem'.
2. In the 20 years after 1981 global temperatures did not decline. They rose about 0.35C.

The global mean for 2011 is not yet in, but it looks like it may be down about 0.1C from 2010. Since 1975 falls of this size or more happened in 1981-82, 1991-92, 1995-96 & 1998-99. To look at the data for yourself watch this "how to" video:

Despite short term falls of 0.095C from 1981-82, 0.190C from 1983-84, 0.132C from 1991-92, 0.130C from 1995-96 & 0.225C from 1998-99, the global temperature has risen about 0.6C since 1975. Why? Because none of these 'falls' represented the beginning of a cooling trend. As long as CO2 continues to accumulate there's no reason to think the warming trend will just stop by itself.

Basically you turn 2 tons of coal to 1 ton of coke via "de carbonization" (a chemical process) which then burns clean
Alternatively you pulverize coal to dust and send it into a 700f closed furnace system whose exhaust goes through a chemical scrubber followed by water filtration, paper filtration, ionic filtration, and electrolysis filtration (US modern plants under EPA rules)
