@PrehistoricPinup Race variations are at LEAST 80% of why Black people are faster. They found that Blacks of West African heritage tend to have longer legs than those of European heritage. Accordingly, their torsos tend to be shorter, placing their center of gravity about an inch higher, translating in a 1.5% boost in speed. They also have far more fast-twitch muscle fibres in their legs, these are used when the body requires quick bursts of speed or power, making West African black superior.

@AProperLad So 80% of West African-Americans who spend every day driving a car to work will run faster than Palestinian refugees who is constantly on the move after being pushed out of their homes simply because they're black? @mauiboynokaoi You're making it sound like I'm a black person? I'm full WHITE BRITISH. Take two people, one black and one white and put them in the same circumstances from birth, feed them the same foods, same amount of exercise etc. Then at 18 years of age make them run a 100m sprint against each other, 9 out of 10 times the black kid will be faster. IT IS BASIC SCIENCE.

In other words, you're saying that race is 80% of the battle when it comes to running speed so 80% of all black people will run faster than anyone of another race regardless of what they eat, how they exercise, etc. Basic science is if you run a lot, you'll run faster. If you don't, you won't.

The argument here is genetics vs. conditioning of which you are saying conditioning plays an infinitesimal role. It is an interesting fact that a uke can play various songs including the one like this. It is not only Hawaiian but universal instrument.

@herrnoel Wrong. Portuguese sailors brought the and the rajão (Basically different variations of a lute) to the Hawaiian islands. The ukulele is the Hawaiians interpretation of both those instruments in one.

@yeahkyleisawesome While technically correct that the ukeulele comes from hawaii, the POINT i was making in response to Andy was that the instrument comes from a family of instruments originated in Europe. Prior to this event, the Hawaiians had no concept of a lute like instrument. It's a western instrument in every way shape and form that happens to have evolved a bit in Hawaii.
