A lot of old cases that did NOT involve "Greys" are now illustrated with "Greys" as being involved. Even in some published articles "typical Grey" is used to describe entities that were not!
I recently watched the Bellero Shield. Bifrost matches the Hills' aliens better than he matches grays. But, yes, Clancy clearly has it wrong. Her source is a book about the Outer Limits, not the episode itself, so she must have used a still shot or maybe a description in the book. Second-hand sources are second-best.
Also, Barney could have watched the show (his shift started at midnight) but we don't know he did.
(I love that Budd Hopkins can deride others with the term "true believer." Wow.)
