This video needs some work on the 3D. The Anaglyph doesn't work for such harsh colors. Close though. Some of it looks really good.

Of course, Pangea was MADE in stereo 3D. This has been converted. Of course it won't be as good.

I watched this with anaglyph (red and blue) glasses several times, and at first I wasn't impressed because I watched this on the small youtube screen.

But to get the best 3d effect (it works amazingly), I went to full screen mode and put my face up to my monitor.

Still, I'd prefer the polarized system they use in movie theatres. More colours that way.

well..blizzard has to make one by themselves, you just added 1 3d effect in one layer, that's not 3d...its just watching with 1 depth onstead of more...nice try anyway

Right, but the Pangea trailer was produced in Stereo 3D, so all scenes were done with the purpose of achieving the best 3D effect. This trailer wasn't, so most of the scenes are not optimized for 3D effects. Besides that, this is a conversion from 2D which has it's limitations...

yes they do, but now-a-days they use polarized ones (which to add to video is really expensive, because you can watch it 2D and 3D, in 2D it looks normal and in 3D is with glasses, for polarized glasses there both black but if you move them side to side you candse 1 is lighg and 1 is darker

This is not true anaglyph, it's just a video distribution in the two channels L and R really anaglyph is when the two videos recorded separately, it is only imitation anaglyph

That's not true. If it would have been done like you said, you wouldn't be able to see any spatial variations, only a flat video moved inscreen. So, the fact that you can see a volume, proves that a second perspective has been generated. Also check the yt3d version with cross eyed mode.

Exactly. I'm watching it right now with a pair of red and cyan anaglyph 3d glasses and the efffect isn't as good as other videos.I'm watching it and i noticed something a little off. And i notcice that you can see the red side more than the blue. Like if you take off your glasses you notcie the red side than you do the blue side. But it was an awesome video nonetheless.
