  • sorry guys

but it is even better in arabic version :)

  • lol im using this to help me study for my bio exam on monday! :D

  • I got a test on Monday, thanks Pinky and Brain.

  • Omg

  • My professor showed this in my psychology class today... I didn't realize my childhood shows were so informative.

  • @brownieblush lol my professor showed this to us as well! before i knew i was singing along and naming off parts of the brain i didn't even know about before hahaha

  • @brownieblush lol my professor showed this to us as well! before i knew i was singing along and naming off parts of the brain i didn't even know about before hahaha

  • @TheYazmanian HAHA ditto! Our poor children, they won't have the privilege.

  • @adorablebelle so true, Spongebob apparently makes kids hyper and silly... Who was your professor, btw????

  • @TheYazmanian Her name was Dinah. Same prof!?

  • @adorablebelle awww no! But that's cool that more nerdy but possibly hot? professors have shown this to their Psych. students. It's pretty brilliant indeed. My prof. is Dr. Aryn Bush. She's fantastic. Cognitive Psych.

  • @brownieblush Baskins?

  • Please send me this video once it's fix! LOOOVE IT ...the audio is great but its the visual that is blurred upon viewing....subbietrekker@yahoo.com Huge Fans!!! And my A&P class would love it!!!

is it an awesome video? for sure!

  • @jpeel36 don't worry. I'm legit studying for a quiz with this as well! i've almost memorized it though! it's an awesome song though!

  • We got shown this in a psychology lecture.

  • Comment removed

  • i'm trying yo use this for my final exams, we have to label the brain xP

  • the best song ever.

  • All i remeber is BRAINSTEM BRAINSTEM

  • .This song ain't for the kids....Too much complicated neuroscience in this song !!

  • That oughta keep the little squirts happy!

  • microelectrodes are not part of the brain, they are things you stick in the brain to measure its eletrical potentials.

  • Is this just for the kids to learn parts of the brain or wht ? Coz boy, this is just the basics ? Wht is the point of yelling brain stem, brain stem after every 2 phrases ?

  • @smartdon007 for the lulz

  • @smartdon007 They couldnt think of anything better to say :P

  • Neocortex, frontal lobe (Brainstem 2X) Hippocampus, neural node right hemisphere Pons and cortex visual (Brainstem 2X) Sylvian fissure, pineal, left hemisphere cerebellum left cerebellum right synapse, hypothalamus striatum, dendrite Axon fibers, matter gray (Brainstem 2X) central tegmental pathway temporal lobe white core matter forebrain, skull (Brainstem 2X) central fissure, cord-spinal, parietal pia mater, meningeal vein, menulla oblongata and lobe limbic, microelectrodes. The Brain!
  • AGHH!!!! I JUST watched a SUPER-SAD ending of FFVII crisis core... and now..... I'M WATCHING THIS!!!! I practically THINK that Cloud Strife & Zack Fair are mixed up with MY BRAIN(stem)

  • Bahaha I love this video. Pretty accurate, too. We got to watch it in my Pyschology class :)

    God I miss that show.

  • @Nlink2012 ditto!!! :D

  • 7 people have no brains to study :(

  • Ahaha, to someone who's actually studied this stuff it's twice as funny. ESPECIALLY the central tegmental pathway since it just seems to random! XD Some inaccuracies but I don't care cuz it's got BRAINSTEM! BRAINSTEM!

  • @muchlyJord haha yea. Being a current bio major makes it even funnier.

  • how could 7 people not like this?

  • I learned it this way in school((:

  • they should teach it this way in school. :)

  • "And now, the parts of the brain. Performed by: hehee...THE BRAIN!"

  • +1 for SYNAPSES!

  • Cerebellum left

    Cerebellum right

    LOL!!!

its just so funny coz everything in the clip is so complicated except the Cerebellum thing xD

  • this is a great vid for an AS psychology class! :D

  • @mynysyn And Medicine =p Nearly sang this in my exam today XDD

  • MICRO ELECTRODES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • lol at 0:42

  • Where is the brainstem again?

  • @marauder3565 i can't find it either.

  • @marauder3565 I can't find it either.

  • We dun get tis type of edu-entertaining cartoons like tis nowadays, tis video is ingenious! Thanks! @y@s

  • This one yes....The one made in portuguese is wrong! They need to correct it.

  • who composed the original tune for this song?

  • Brainstem Brainstem Narf, egad, point

  • totally using this to study for my psych GRE XDDDD

  • brain stem! brain stem!

  • How am I supposed to remember all that? LOL

  • lol epic XD

@ c0587 My Anatomy and Physiology prof suggested this as well lol

  • the brain =)

  • the brain used to scare mee alot when i was younger

  • lol =)

  • @SilenceWithinNoise what???i was a little kid at the time =]

  • not 100% accurate, but i love it! the "central fissure" is really the longitudinal fissure so as to not be confused with the central sulcus. and when they showed "medulla oblongata," they had most of the brainstem highlighted, including the pons and midbrain. but it made me laugh while stressing out over neuroanatomy! and not half bad for a cartoon. i miss this show.

  • Brainstem

  • greatest ever :)

  • im always watching it on go

  • The Pinky and Brain song I want to see is when he sings about Conquerers Throughout History

  • I loved pinky and the brain as a kid!!! Surprised my anatomy and physiology professor suggested this!!!! Sweeet!!!!!!

  • lol so did min XD

  • I first loved this clip as a 7-year old who loved to laugh at Pinky's antics. Now I'm a psychology uni student, and love this video just as much!

  • aewsome! XD

  • Legendary! just louve it ! great referesher for all MDs out there! lol

  • Wow I wonder how many kids tried to sing along and learn it..lol that is awesome. Not like the cartoons now where the subliminal messages are of a much different nature..

  • a fucking lot

  • sooooo epic!! ^^^

  • I think the german version is better <3

    But love it :))

  • :O!!!

0:57 he mislabeled the longitudinal fissure as the central fissure!

guess im smarter than the brain :P

  • Yes, the marked area was the fissura longitudinalis cerebri.

And the fissura centralis Rolandi is actually opposite to it ;)

  • ahaha brainstem "! **^

  • brainstem! brainstem!

  • So using this to study for my psych test tomorrow...

    :D

  • XD 1:11

  • our neuroscience prof in med school just showed us this. pure brilliance.

  • and who ever says cartoon shoes dont teach you anything... :D

  • This is SO going to help my psych homework...

  • the first thing our lecturer showed us for our neuropsychology lectures was this video - love it!!

  • That's funny, mine did too, now that I am studying for a quiz Thursday I thought I would check it out again. It's cute

  • Haha, my brother actually used this to help him remember the parts ofthe brain for his classes at uni

  • ... YES!!

  • the german one is more funny than this version...

  • and the Dutch?

    watch?v=kVU_YMX8NsE

  • the dutch one is funny, too.but the voice is not so funny like the german one...

And i can understand the german one better ...

but i can also understand the dutch and the englisch version...

  • Sorry heres the Dutch:

    watch?v=TSUqqHbDw80

  • It's a little niggle, but it just annoys me when they reverse words for rhyme's sake ('cord spinal', 'cortex visual', synapse hypothalamus', 'lobe limbic'). I know they had to, but it just sounded weird.

  • you're right but what do you expect? Americans are morons, everyone knows that.

  • Oh! Are you a European or an American liberal that wishes he was a European?

Maybe you're just insulting the English language. Stop covering for your own insecurities by insulting the greatest nation on Earth.

  • Greatest nation eh?

  • In this American's opinion, yes.

  • lol yeah right! greatest nation! hehe

  • Switzerland?

  • only thing i remember at the end of this clip is brainstem.

  • Thats how I remember the brain

  • Pretty encouraging... considering I'll have a neurology exam in a few days. Why wouldn't I just create a song to remember everything? ^^

  • Hey, the german one is better! check out: watch?v=KL27Xg7Abck

  • what is the tune?

  • "Camptown Races" -

The Campptown ladies sing this song,

    Doo-da, Doo-da

The Camptown racetrack's five miles long

    Oh, de doo-da day

    Goin' to run all night

    Goin' to run all day

I bet my money on a bob-tailed nag

    Somebody bet on the gray.

    I hope this helps :o)

  • pretty sure 1.08 is wrong... the medula oblongata

  • agreed

  • skull protects brains but isn't a real part of the brain. but they did make that for a rhyme.

  • I watched this at my college class today, everyone wasn't happy lol.

  • the german synchrosation isnt as good as the english original

  • see i could be pedantic and say the skull aint really part of the brain...

  • love it!!

  • we have to sing this at school xD

  • Medulla oblengata is wrong...the spinal cord, medulla, pons, and midbrain were all hilighted. Just sayin...

  • I decided to do a presentation on the brain for my health class. I'm using this video.

  • where did u download or get the vid because im using it for project 2 and i cant find it. please help! ANYONE HELP!

  • I'm just going to show the Youtube video.

  • o okay well its all good because i found a school friendly website

  • Search for FLV player/downloader, and you can grab the video directly from youtube (there are also a lot of alternatives)

  • BRAINSTEM, BRAINSTEM!!

  • lolz my science teacher showed us this video (8th grade)

  • we must learn this from school

  • the scull (sp) isn't part of the brain??? Oh well give it 5 stars anyway!!!

  • No it isn't. The skull is the envelope that protects the brain, not the brain itself.

Awesome video by the way, especially if you're in school and you have to learn all of those by heart :)

  • I LOVE THIS....why is this like seriously 50% of my 1st neuro exam and Im in medschool!!! lol hahaha

  • Tee hee hee. Hello MD Candidate JM! So, if I learn this song, am I halfway there? lol. Btw, its MD Candidate CG.

  • it was on my psych test! :)

  • The Brain and Captain Falcon share a favorite word. Do you know which word it is?

  • YES I do know what it is!

... YES Im not going to tell you. >=D

  • omg this is pure brilliance.

  • Brain sounds AAAALOT like Vincent Price, I'm surprised that no one has pointed that out yet

  • He's actually a mix of Vincent Price and Orson Welles. Makes for a hilarious voice. XD

  • This is how you learn.

  • my teacher is making us sing this song to other science classes.

  • I once showed this to my psych teacher and he showed it to the class. Just goes to show that cartoons DID teach us things!

  • BRAINSTEM BRAINSTEM!

  • YES!

  • haha MY TEACHER and a peer RECOMMENDED THIS BECAUSE THE BRAIN IS the NEXT UNIT i'm doing.
