gecko's dont kiss, they 'smell' with their tounge just like other lizards and snakes. That gecko doesnt look calm at all, the poor thing tries to get away from you and hide. It sees you as a possible predator because you keep trying to touch it, speak up loudly and the blue color of the pillow makes it think it's in water likely. So im not surpriced it's trying to get away.

Obviously the boy doesn't literally think the gecko is trying to kiss him. If the gecko was truly distressed he would be either screeching or making more of an effort to get away; some geckos are just very active. On the other hand, he could be a little annoyed and wanting some private time, but he's clearly not fearful.

Mine went through a phase where it would only eat meal worms,.. So i slipped a wax worm in the dish to try and trick her but she outsmarted me,.. So then It come down to a force feed and thet never worked,.. Same with crikets,.. Then I tried a different type of cricket and she loved them,.. And she have suddenly loved wax worms,. they have different appertites everyday and if you keep feeding them the same thing day in day out it will only ghet used to them,.. Mix their food up abit,..

haha pretty good vid for a kid! well he only eats waxworms because they are like "sweets" to them. put only crickets with him and he will adjust to them. he does look rather on the chucky side but then again you do have tiny hands. again nice video for as young as you are!

He is waaaaaaaay too fat. You should feed him crickets dusted with leopard gecko dust, or small roaches. He's big enough for pinky mice too, if he'll eat them. But you should really cut back on giving him waxworms. Treat them like candy for geckos, theyre mostly fat with not a lot of nutrients.

Your gecko is basically way to fat. Its at the stage thats its possible unhealthy. You should cut them out all together. Keep attempting to feed him small locust and crickets and eventually he will be hungry enough to eat them. he had lost his toes due to shed not being shed from his toes properly. this stops blood flow to toes and they fall off. so make sure u have a humid hide to aid in shedding. you can use cotton buds that are damp to get off any retained shed. And as far as food no worms!

Your gecko is adorable!! please make sure he has a diet of meal worms, crickets or roaches with calcium supplements though. waxworms are very fattening and unhealthy and not a good source of nutrition. they are ONLY used as treats sometimes, but i don't even feed them to my gecko. he's overweight and just want him to be healthy happy and live long. :]

okay over feed. ive had my leo for 10 years his still living i treat his diet as if he was in the wild. his at healthy weight. Crickets are the mean meal. then mealworms when ive had them for a good time i gut load all my feedings exp pinkys that he only gets1 to 2 times a year they are many good for females for egg laying but you are feeding him way to much
