While Yiddish fusion can be a fine and many‪-‬splendored thing ‪(‬consider‪,‬ for example‪,‬ the Klezmatics‪),‬ I‪'‬m afraid that the Klezmer Mountain Boys falls short‪:‬ their music veers from fairly authentic klezmer to fairly authentic bluegrass without fusing the two in any meaningful or‪,‬ for me at least‪,‬ enjoyable way‪.‬ A worthy effort but farfaln in the end‪.‬

@ashkenaz I have to agree with you on this one. The seams are pretty smooth, but there's not a lot of admixture going on here. Just switching back and forth. I like it, but I keep hoping for something more than just a gimmick.
