Working and/or college are important. Don't worry you'll make it back. Looks like your on Lake Michigan. Wouldn't make taking a tour around the Great Lakes.
Ocean City is a nice place to both live and visit. Being a "dry" town makes it that much nicer.
The fireworks on the beach this year were awesome. Put out a blanket on the still warm sand and read books for an hour before the show with the light from the boardwalk.

You can return to Ocean City anytime.
