Here in Latin America we have the reggaeton, and most people haaaaaaate it, mostly because the lyrics are very tacky and they support macho attitudes and issues about women being only sluts ready to satisfy men. Women on the reggaeton genre are always singing about unhappy love and cheating. Chalga is somewhat similar.
