Thanks for all of your suggestions, unfortunately we are no longer in Germany but we plan to one day return. I will have to do further research! Thanks for your comment and ton of hugs Mel
i just got back from performing there with the kentucky ambassadors of music about five days ago that place is amazing i swear the sun sets alone are worth it
Wow! I just visited your channel - hopefully one day you will put up video of your performances. If you do, please let me know as I would love to see it! Ton of hugs Mel
Hello and thanks for posting this video. I enjoed it a lot! Myself, I visited Rotheburg three times when I was a student in Germany and I can't get enough of the place. I also visited several of the places shown in your video, didn't get to take my own footage though, only several photos which I posted on my website. By the way, did you see the medieval crime museum? A truly unique place. The Christmas market there is legendary too.
Hey, Thanks for your wonderful comment. I have to agree that Rothenburg is extremely amazing and long to return there one day. I hope that the video brought back a lot of memories. As to the Crime Museum - Yes we had no choice but to go there and glad we did. There is video up on my channel as well! Ton of hugs Mel
Yes as a matter of fact I am from Texas so yeah I was in a Texas group haha but we were in a tour with an Iowa group though. It was June 11-20 of 2006. Germany, Austria, Italy, and Switzerland.
Rothenburg is close to my Hometown Neustadt-Aisch..i spend many many days there....and Nights... I live in Savannah Georgia now..the video is good but moving too fast.....
Yea they were and I have the same issues with heights and I'm not the best person with walking down stairs Especially when filming LOL Tons of hugs ♥Mel
You are completely welcome and I'm glad it brought back to memories That is why really I made the video for us to always have away to look back Sadly we just moved from Germany and now back in the states Germany will always be in my heart Tons of hugs ♥Mel
Holland is a place I really want to go see, especially during all the tulips. I know its beyond beautiful there. Thanks for the comment! Tons of hugs ♥Mel
I recall standing by a church there that had a date of construction that was before 1492 when Columbus sailed the ocean blue. I thought myself, WoW this place was standing here as awesome as it is before America was even known to exist. I didn't recall being charged a fee for the view but that was a long time ago. I am part German and for some odd reason I always felt at home there as though I had been there before. Dajavu that just would not quit.
You know, I think that is very interesting that you say that because I had felt the same way when I was there. There was a instance of Dajavu when my husband read to me that @ the St. Jacob Cathedral that one of the members who was responsible for one side of the temple commited suicide when the other was higher or more perfect. As well I had visions in my sleep. Its a magical place, that is for sure. You should plan another trip to Germany btw! Tons of hugs, Mel!
I have to say by far, this was my favorite place within Germany that I have visited. I have many more to conquer and see but it was amazing. The hotel was amazing as well, they actually served amazing food to (really cheap). The wall and the tower were simply amazing to see as well but I still can't get over how many stairs it had and then when you get up there they charge you to see the view (LOL!) Hugs from Mel!
Great video this is porchpuppy that changed name to try to do away with confusion I created and did away with porchpuppy. The way it was made folks think I was performing music. I just post music by my friends. I didn't see much of the indoor stuff as I recall but remember the wall and tower well. Loved the music and the way it ended, good stuff.
can somebody be my tour guide in rothenburg i wish i could move and live there i love that place even though i haven't been there
i love rothenburg ob der tauber so bad
