There is no other gymnast that has the smoothest double back/double back pike like Li Ning, most people during the second flip lose height, but Li Ning does not lose much if any height during the second flip. Amazing athlete.

Yes, and isn't it amazing how his knees were glued together. His double double is better than most gymnasts' plain double backs!!

I remember this man very well. We had a tape of the 84' Olympics and he was always a favorite to watch. Who would have thought we'd see him again, lighting bu the Beijing Olympic Torch.

are you kidding? he's the biggest deal in china. look him up on wikipedia. his clothing lable is comparable to that of nike in china. prior to the opening ceremony a lot of people speculated that he would be the one chosen to light the olympic torch. sorry to sound so defensive, it's just that i am from china and he's my uncle.
