  • Thanks great info

  • good, useful info. Thanks!

  • Good secret tip.

    Thanks!

  • Facebook seriously sucks a lot, I spend a lot of money Ads & now suddenly my facebook page is disable without any reason and they are not opening it, I lost all my money spends on ads, lost my running business & all my customers and what they fuck they are doing i have no idea & i am really very upset & angry.

  • great info!

  • @ShaneSmith9488 Thanks, got to ask the man himself last night

  • Great video. I can't believe people are actually using the CPC model, what a joke. Thanks again!!!

  • 1% ? C'mon man... On facebook only best marketers have 1% CTR :)... Average is 0,04% CTR on facebook for CPM ads i think

  • Great video!

  • @MegaHenryv Thanks

  • I don't know about the travel part, but you could certainly do "spanish speakers" and select only France as a test. They would be Spanish speakers in France only. The travel part would be hard because you would almost need a setting in Facebook settings to select "not at home IP or country IP blocks" and they don't have that..

  • I wonder if there is a way(through some advanced settings to adjust the location, demographics) to target a group of people from one country currently traveling, being in another country. Example target Spanish people being in France.

  • @robo1006 See the above response, Rob..

  • Who's making these negative comments, FACE BOOK ADVERTISING STAFF?

This is great information especially in these economic times.

  • @lmikepowers1 The prices have gone up a ton since we first put this video out, so don't be shocked to see some different numbers when you try this now..

  • thanks this was very helpful =)

looks like affiliate marketing really needs some thinking.

  • is that not illegal ? i mean u work for them and u have to pay for the work

  • @vika921 I don't work for Facebook so I am not sure what you mean..

  • @InternetTimeMachine I meant what facebook is doing is that not illegal?

  • @InternetTimeMachine i mean what facebook is doing its like u work for them

  • .facebookstatistics.t k

  • Great ad. I loved it

  • but will it blend? :l

  • Sorry to say, your math is off. I have been advertising for years - and years - and know a thing or two. Average CTR on FB is between 0.03% and 0.05% - some more fine tuned targeting can average 0.08% CTR. Not 1%. I would run your math again with these more realistic numbers and see what you get.

  • @eighteleveninc When this video was released, Facebook was not nearly as populated with advertisers as it is now. So you are right on with those numbers. As the field get crowded, prices go up and CTR go down.

  • @InternetTimeMachine Yep - you're definitely right in that Facebook is reaching full saturation. CTR is similar to standard banner advertising now, which shows both the saturation and maturation of the channel.

  • @InternetTimeMachine it was less than a year ago bro...

  • The 85p is great! The problem is the "1 out of 9029". Either you need to target the group that is seeing your ad more closely, and/or redo the ad to be more inticing to click. Some good tips are, 1. Ask a question in the ad 2. Use the word "secret" or "just released"...

  • Thanks, prices on Facebook have gone way up since this video came out so make sure you break out the calculator and do the math on each option now.

  • hey, thanks a lot for this info. This little detail! i would have never noticed it.

  • if you pay for ads do cpc it better! you'll get your cpm but you'll actually have people checking you out and click it to see if your business is business! you saw money too

  • Thanks!! This is just what I needed.

I had no idea what I was doing and blew my small budget for a few clicks. I deleted the ad cos i didn't know what else to do.

    Giving this a try...cheers!

  • Hi, yes, it's nice, but in your example you have target audience of 26000 users. If you pay for CPM you pay for 1000 impressions. If you have 26000 audience, your ad can be theoretically shown to all of them in one day. After they all saw the ad, whom the ads will be shown to? To the same people over and over again? Let's say maybe 500 people of those 26000 are willing to give you business. So, what then? Pay for impressions that don't bring me any more business?

  • i want to advertise my youtube channel

  • @gorrilazdamon like that would help

  • @MrKakadoie yes! i can make a page of a game or music and then trick people that it is a call of duty and realy its my vids so i get more views

  • @gorrilazdamon Still, you'll onlyget more dislikes and view and bad reviews and reports and haters and trollers

  • How can u make money frm this??r u only paying facebook or do they pay u 2 for clicks ?someone please answer.f love from sierra leone

  • The most important thing to do is test your CTR if you are getting 0.5% or more after a couple of days switch your ad to another similar and go CPM as you will increase your CTR through CPM but use CPC for testing.

  • Hey Guy, I'm 61 and have been doing web for over ten years. Don't assume that there is an age that doesn't understand technology. Like you videos but I would have never seen your ads on Face Book cause of the age restriction.

  • I'm a new affiliate marketer, will take this advice on board, great video, thanks.

  • Hi, am sorry to say, it's not that simple, i did an advert not long ago and i was hammered with a bill of $38 in a day, because they showed my advert thousands of time in one day.which it does not mean they will click my add, they just have to show my add, thats it, and kacheeng, money in there pocket, CPM sucks!!!!

i like you guy's but am afraid you lot are wrong this time,PPC would be cheaper.

  • @barbersahib Depends on the ad and the % clickthrough rate...well worth it if people click on your ad.

  • @barbersahib Didn't you set a budget? Am I missing something here?

  • @barbersahib

PPC sucks too. Facebook charges you for every subsequent visit to your site that a person who clicked on your ad makes. Test it. Create an ad and then click on your own ad from a different computer. After you click on your ad, next day, type in your browser the name of your site. Do it 20 times in a row, you'll see 20 clicks from facebook. Go to Google Analytics, and you'll find out that all "clicks" were from your other computer. Tested several times, every time the same result.

  • out of the Boston area but staff around the world

  • great sound quality. Really liked the video presentation. Where are you based? I'm near the DC area.

  • You don't look 52...I would say 40 :-)...so you still qualify!

  • Hey, I'm 52 and I'm an affiliate marketer!! :) Good video ...

  • Just interested ....Have you hit your 1% CTR yet..??? hmmm...

  • sensational video. Thank you

  • Thank you for the good info. I wonder what software do you use to captured this video with your face on it? I hope you can help me on this.

  • @edhad Camtasia Studio

  • Thats really a interest thing you pointed out, Thanx

  • Very well said from a "Your Smoking Cessation Specialist Hypnotist",

  • sounds like you have not done any ads on facebook at all, it is not enough to log into the account and start teaching people if you have not done ads yourself. Show me a screenshot of 1% ctr on facebook, it could be possible but not for a guy like you, you might 0.1$ and even that is pretty good, do u really think FB is that dumb to give traffic away 20 cheaper like you showed? i don't think so chukky
