  • @robertbutler714 you should really rephrase that or just delete that comment cause it does sound you're hating.

  • @robertbutler714 I definitely understand the expression of opinion, but Dillas FAR from the worst... DJ KHALED? whos that....?

  • lol obviously its better then whats on the radio,or else it would be on there

  • What album is this on? I have not been able to find it at all.

  • @HuggumsMcgehee And why does everyone keep saying it's on Jay Love Japan? I have that album. It's not on there. Unless it was on an earlier or later release. Either way, it's not on iTunes.

  • @HuggumsMcgehee it was on his mixtape " A whole lot of soul partner vol. 1"

  • Nice. Bobby stainless from D.C.

  • blu and elzhi were the best mc's to be blessed with some dilla's beats, this song is just perfect...

  • like the music man you doing it nice.

  • beat, lyrics and hook...allllll so sick

  • simply beautiful! Can't stop listenin'!

  • holy sh*t, wow man this song is amazing......j dilla is amazing, blu is raw man this is way better than dat crap u hear on the radio

  • wow that's all i can say

  • oh man...this is legendary

  • no one can do it better than blu in this beat

  • more than dope.

  • Don't get me wrong. Blu did great on this. But it is impossible to kill a J Dilla beat. Those aren't chops you hear. That's the beat killing and reviving itself in rapid sucession.

  • @MrFatAnimal more like young common (but better) in fact nothing like jay-z at all.

  • Shitttt. :D

  • Go to my channel for DOPE hip hop music!! you wont be disappointed.... unless ur a hater... then again why would you hate? lol, thanks :P

    - this beat is better w/ blu

  • This beat is better by itself, just an istrumental is needed. It's just one of those beats

  • @dillafan757 Exactly. It's the kind of uncompromising beat no rapper can touch.

  • - The version with Blu & Miguel was a song off of Blu's mixtape (The CORE).

    - At the end of the Blu & Miguel version of Sun In My Face, Blu gives his respects to J Dilla so I guess he just used J Dilla's instrumental for his mixtape.

    - Not sure on the bootleg Jay Love Japan tracklisting rumors though.

    - Original time of the song off of 'The CORE Mixtape' is like 3:38 or near that.

  • Dope

  • on the contrary they have a music video for this, but never been released, ugh tht sucks.

  • 8 people have no souls.

  • I Found a place to download this song! And about 100 other songs from Blu. Drop me a message on my channel and I'll hook you up!

  • @IxCLuTcHxI buy blu's music

  • @HotSizzlenSauce Have you ever read comments on his videos? Half of his songs (including this one) are impossible to find to buy. Yet alone download for free. Would Blu rather have us NOT listen to his music simply because nobody can find a place to buy it?

  • Somebody help me find this song. It isn't on Jay Love Japan.

  • blu is ill as fuckk

  • thank you Dilla, we Love your music

  • lyrics?

  • i loooove when blu and miguel are on a track together. that shits magic!

  • Thumbs up if you played the song again when it finished! :)

  • @aartjuh5 Asking for thumbs up is for faggots.

But I'll thumbs up anyway because its true!

  • im so happy when i here this guy rap,so much i might even buy his album lol

  • the only thing wrong with this song is its not long enough...cuz its fuckin amazing

  • @Tmathh

I wish there was remix with Lupe and other progressive MCs.

  • @Ginga that would be nice as hell

  • Blu can fucking spit some fire

  • This is one of Dillas Best wow iv never herd this one

  • They Say Miracles Don't Happen Often But Blu on a Dilla Beat Like When Noah Saw Land.

  • perfect!

  • what album is this from?

  • @s0c0t0t0 Yeah, I'm really curious what album this is on. I know it's on Blu's CORE mixtape, and he added an outro talking about how much he appreciated Dilla's influence. But this would have to be on a Dilla album, right?

  • @steeler7588 "Jay loves Japan" is the album its the last track

  • @steeler7588 It was on the Jay Love Japan album, but it's now out of print.

  • this song just moved the clouds from over me

  • Rest In Peace, James Dewitt Yancey.

  • It's crazy how when I first hear some of Jay Dee's beats, at first I'm only thinking "It's not bad". Then 30 secs in my head is noddin hard as fuck and I'm lost in the song.

  • @chochaos7

Couldn't agree more. With some artists and producers, you have to listen to their songs a few times to begin feeling it. With Dilla, his beats grow on you...within seconds.

  • Comment removed

  • @chochaos7 thats dilla...period.

dilla likes to hand you your opinions back like "here i think you dropped this" then you realize its not your opinion you dropped, its your jaw.

  • @flood612 Tight Sentence yo! Real

  • @chochaos7 same here

  • @chochaos7 dude that just happened to me with this song that's so crazy i've been listening to this same song on repeat for like 20 minutes haha

  • @TheillMadeKnght It's Jay Love Japan, trust me.

  • @Maradonarules10 now im pissed cause that shit ain't on the copy i downloaded. fuckin iTunes >:(

  • @TheillMadeKnght Oh shit that sucked, it's probably one of the best songs on the album.. Blu rips this beat.

  • mainstream isn't ready for this amazing music. this is so sick, forreal.

  • Yo! it fits Perfectly. I think Dilla would've officially gave em this beat for his album.

  • classic

    REST IN BEATS DILLA

  • them fake niggas on the radio is wack on god i looked up on google they make deals with the devil and somne illumanate shit

  • @kingmeforever lol fo real? i gotta look into dat cuz everybody always be sayin dat shit too

  • i dont think anyone could say Blu is wack

  • sick!

  • what was wierd today was i went to a store in the mall and heard this

i was trippin i was like wtf...

    blu dilla n here really..

i dunno guys i hope its not gonna be put in mainstream.

  • @nissan300zxkid From an artist point of view that is not a compliment cauz people make music to be heard everywhere regardless whether its underground or mainstream. You should actually be happy that mainstream folks are starting to listen to this kind of music.

  • @tondamac well actually i heard it playing and what i realized.. afterwards was that someone had it on a cd,,

but yeah for ur info.. i dont really no any mainstream ppl tht would listen to this

because OBVIOUSLY if they did they wouldnt listen to the b.s. on the radio so yeah..... and they are not starting to listen to this LMFAO WTF R U TALKING ABOUT?? UNLESS UR THE MAINSTREAM HEAD. hahha

  • @nissan300zxkid hey i know a lot of people who listen to mainstream artists like Luda, Lupe and Em but also still bump Blu. I just usually dont like it when underground fans say this kind of music should not be in the mainstream cauz that is like trying to confine someones music to just one specific audience.Plus c'mon not all mainstream artists are garbage take Nas or Common for example they are mainstream but still good and you can tell they influenced cats like BLU.

  • @tondamac well thats weird cuz when u put mainstream into it haha blu doesnt even like mainstream obviously, according to lil wayne he def doesnt like. lmao... and about the Nas thing i dont really kno u kinda cant put them in the predicament because nas has changed and isnt the same anymore.... colliding with mainstream artists his music lost its touched, he kinda lost his touch and for common, he really lost it saying kanye is the next dj premier, lol seriously?? nah nah.. i keep up.. lol haha

  • anyone got the lyrics for this btw? couldnt find them

  • mad love for blu for this one.. gettin sick of that RINGTONE music aka the radio aka soulja boy aka garbage

  • DILLA! RIP

  • What's wit all this elitist talk... "mainstream wouldn't appreciate it". Get off your high horses, homies, he's no household name but Dilla's up there.

  • you get krcl that occasionally jams REAL hip-hop on the weekends in utah. im sicc of u92! blu puts it on! and you couldn't say enough about dilla.

  • Rest in Beats!.Why you left us so quikly J DILLA?.Eternaly remix your Music my Broder.Peace.D

  • mainstream wouldn't appreciate it...Besides this music is beyond mainstream...

  • 7 dislikes...more like 7 dumbasses

  • His flow reminds me of Common Sense.

  • imagine a world were blu and dilla ran the music game. hahaha a day that i would be worth the wait.

  • @razilleD I'd kill for that day.

  • Anyone know what the beat is called for this? is it still 'Sun In My Face' or is the beat called something else? peaceee.

  • Does anyone know the sample?

  • @HuggumsMcgehee sample is "All The Befores" by Diana Ross. Before I even heard the sample I could tell Dilla chopped the shit out of it. After hearing the sample I still can't fathom how he made it. Missing Dilla today..

  • Does anyone know the sample?

  • Comment removed

  • this instrumental is incredible

  • never cared 4 mainstream anyway

  • @lk0micho haha wow... nicely said

  • @lk0micho I'd love to see his playlist

  • @lk0micho

    ji dilla is God's ipod.

  • @ir0nmaiden1 nice

  • Blaze it

  • @hiphoplakecity go ahead

  • if we try to bring this to the light the mainstream will strike down on him cuz he doesnt sound like every1 else and nowadays thats wut rap is about unfortunately. He's unique and has real talent, when the radio and mainstream goes back to their roots ppl like Blu n Atmosphere and P.O.S. and Eyedea can come out of the ground n bless ppl with their dope rhymes n ill flows

  • this is not underground guys. this is something that NEEDS to be heard. so it shouldn't be under the ground. bring it up.

  • This dude is killin it!And with Dilla on the beat, thats what its all about.True hip hop.

  • Dope tune

  • Dope tune

  • Theres a video to this song. they didnt want to release it. :/

  • The realness.

  • Blu + Dilla = pure greatness.

  • Chorus alone does it for this song! Lovely track.

  • perfect marriage...J Dilla=Genius on production

  • This is what hip-hop is suppose to be

  • @pizzaeleven11 why?

  • @pqkvideo Everybody has there own opinion on why. The reason for me is everything. Miguel Jontel's hook and singing is awesome. Blu's lyrics, delivery, and passion were flawless. And Dilla is being Dilla making a beat that you can feel in your soul...

  • @pizzaeleven11 *supposed

  • R.I.P. J Dilla!
