This is probably a retarded question, but have you ever considered switching to a 7 string? they offer a little more range and my rg7321 has decent tone thru a line 6. (i plan to go with a peavey valveking half-stack when i get some money, but just throwin that out there.

@xGUITARZEROx Don't go for the VK. Get a good 2x12 Cab and a Spider Valve. If you don't have the money, go for the Spider IV. Both offer more clarity, adjustable noise gate, different settings for different guitars, built in tuner and stuff like delay and different flavours of reverb. Makes life so much easier on stage. I'm a big fan of peavey gear and guitars, but the VK is no better than any good modeling amp. Low quality tubes < high quality solid state. Owned all 3. VK < S4 < Spider Valve

@freaxxx True that. I have the Spidervalve MKii and that thing is so awesome. Real tube crunch from that beastly Bogner power and pre amp tube sections. True tube feel, modeling flexibility, fucking rocks dude.

Nice!! I like what u did to your guitar. I got this guitar in black cherry, and i have another one with tiger strips. Both have dimarzio evo's and they sound way better than those inf"s. I was gonna put Emgs in my S420, but i ended up getting the PRS torero. The S series is my favorite guitar tho, there very comfortable and fast.

Try to add distortion bass track to your tone! Distorted bass mixed with clean bass making a sound more "focused".

@neo69hk there is no really big difference between 38 and 40 while you can all snare note line drag to disired place.

Sound also differ from velocity (it got hit power simulation = lover velocity = weaker hit)
