Chris Matthews is right, the Republicans have led people to believe that Obama walked into a situation that was good or not that bad. Reince Priebus was right when he said Obama has not shown leadership-I say that because Obama caved into GOP demands. Obama should have done the more popular things first to lock down his 2008 coalition-closed Gitmo, descalated the Iraq War, pushed for a public option, and deeper tax cuts for people making less than 250 K.

All Priebus did was keep switching subjects to avoid the questions. What did he say about his party's attitude toward evolution and science? What did he say about the GOP's specific role in creating the financial meltdown? He dodged these questions and stuck to his negative talking points about President Obama.
