@smilerboyboy In my opinion he wasn't a flop, it was the way that the team was being run at the time (and still is) that was a flop. You can't expect a player like Sheva to succeed when he's forced to play dumbass roles he's never had to play prior. He was played as a supporting striker BEHIND Drogba. Truth be told he played that role perfect, it's no coincidence Drogba had such success in those years. Sheva does more off the ball than most players do on the ball.

@beastson I agree, but I think there was an expectation that he would score a lot of goals, but he is one of the great strikers and in A.C Milan along with supersub Thomasson they made each other look better. The funny story is Thomasson was almost always played a supporting striker in ACM and on the national team forced to play front man :P had much more succes as SS :P trainers needs more time with the fans who knows how to run a team hehe :D

@MartinezMKD No i forgot about him after he flopped for us and could not partner Didier and just didnt fit in the Prem which if you look back on was not his style and this transfer would have happened now with Shevchenko the same age and form i dint think Roman signs him becuase he has learned more from the game. He fit perfectly into Serie A it is a tactical league and he is that kind of player yes he was one of the best in our era but he did not fit for Chelsea could have won more if good.
