I STRONGLY support independent and grassroots wrestling...2 wrestlers, a ring, wrestling fans and not "marks". If you tell a person about a wrestling event in your town it seems that the first question they ask is "is (famous WWE or TNA wrestler) going to be there?" and you reply no they will not be interested. I just hate that. 9 times out of 10 the wrestlers you dont know about can put on the best show than any mainstream wrestler ever can.

Amateur (which is actually the highest PROFESSION of wrestling you can HOPE to achieve) isnt fun to watch but is fun to compete in. I happen to like wrestling, as do about 12 million others, but at the same time i don't like ER. Although countless millions tune in every week. And on a side note, this may be a staged exhibition, but it is still physically demanding. These men are in better shape than any other athlete.
