  • @The1jzSoarer lol What do you drive?

  • used a karate belt and tied my tripod to the chair...works...costs $0..

  • what kind of tripod head is that?

  • or, you can sticky tape it to the visa

  • thats exactly what i did however i just crammed my little tripod under my headrest . Or somtimes i sep up the tripod in my back seat and have it look over. dont have to worry about the vibrations from the seat being transmitted to your mount

  • This is cool if I wanted the camera inside my car, but I want it outside. Can you make a vid for that?

  • what year was this made? seems like one old mid 80's health class instructional videos

  • why not just tie down a retractable tripod behind your front seats? thats what i do...

  • lol... just get a GORILA POD ...!

  • @josephbutch I've used one in my car.

Their gash and the camera vibrates WAY too much.

  • just buy a gopro....

  • i was gonna duck tape it to the cieling but yeah idk... duck tape it to the roof?

  • I made one similar ... with U bolts though. Your method allows for easy installation & removal.

  • I know how to make it work. All you need is duct tape and bailing wire, then wrap as much as you can around the mount and the seat until it is stuck there for eternity!!!

  • As for the STi seats...just cut the tubing a little bit longer and get longer clamping bolts. That way it'll still slide over the STi headrest. (Use it like a croc clip).

  • I built one for under 30 bucks... a little less complicated tripod head, and designed more for a camera like the Flip Ultra HD than a camcorder.

  • I only spent about $30 on RAM-mount equipment (camera mount, adjustable arm, and suction-cup base). I can mount that to the inside of the windshield (or any other window) and the suction-cup mount will hold on the outside of the windows at speed, too. I haven't tried it on the roof or the body yet, but it's pretty darn sturdy and very versatile.

  • The cheat!

  • I was considering doing this for my next race, but then i remembered my awesome sports seats. damn you WRX!!!

  • thank you.

  • good information :)
