yea theme restaurants are extreme ripoffs the food is about on par with a Shoney's or Denny's hell I think Denny's food is actually better than planet hollywood, but the themed places charge triple and at times 5 times more than a normal place.

Louis, you're great, but here I'm afraid you are taking the piss. Of course we know that places like Planet Hollywood are nothing more than tourist attractions, and we don't expect any of the celebrities to be there apart from the opening ceremony (they've got lives too!). This must be early Theroux stuff, his style seems a little too obviously sarcastic here, like he hadn't completely developed his ingeniously crafted persona of amiable naivety that won his subjects over in Weird Weekends.
