thank you for posting this tutorial. the plot and the effect are perfectly aligned, in my opinion. the cards do exactly what the story describes, and it's got great visual impact. i have made a set of these cards, by pulling from an old 'mental photography' deck, and shaving one card to match all others. this trick reminds a bit of 'sleeping queen', whuch also has a playing card doing something that a human does. anyway, thanks again for this very fine effect!

In this case I start with the same song of my performance video (Lies- Evanescence) and then the Tim Burton's movie song (Ninghtmare before Xmas).
