  • great video nice finds

  • wow, that 1929 was in very good condition

  • i should check that park out! i live only an hour away. maybe ill see you there! good job on your finds.

  • Great video and finds Dawg! I like that little shovel of yours. It really scoops the dirt up nice! The soil there must be very kind to old coppers. The ones I see coming out of the NE are usually so corroded they can barely be identified as coins! A lot of guys post their finds on the Friendly Metal Detecting Forum, check it out if you get a chance! On-On and HH!

  • Thanks Daddydigger....I made that little shovel 25 + years ago. All I ever have to do is sharpen it. The soil here in most of the areas is very good to copper and silver. It is unusual to get a coin in bad shape, unless it is the newer zincon cents. HH

  • Great Old Finds (Nothing here that old that I am aware of)..Good picture / Film editting technique as well....Good Luck on your next digs

  • Great Finds! I'm not sure if I'm right or not but I think that U.S. Army button is from the Pre- Civil War era, near the era of the War of 1812

  • Congrats on the Silver. Great hunt and great vid.

    Good LucK & HH

  • MNDigger.. Yes this is the same park..This park has given up at least a dozen or more coins in the 1700's that I am aware of. Most of them have been reales, but a spattering of English and a couple of French have been found.

  • Great video and hunt ! Congrats on the silver coins and 1700 coin. Good luck on your next hunt.

  • The old park still giving up treasures. Unreal.. Thanks!

  • Great Vid!!

    Awesome Copper Man!!!

And The Coins Come Out Of That Ground SOOO Clean!!!

Is That The Park You Got The 1798 Large Cent A While Ago?

    HH!!

  • cool old copper!

  • Great Finds. Sure is funny how you find stuff in an area that you have pounded hard before.

    HH

  • It just goes to show, that an area that's been in use, may never actually be hunted out. I'm certainly counting on it!
