Well I started with the toynami versions masterpiece 1-5.. Just because it was robotech .. But Yamatos are really the best I just started my collection with the VF-0s !! Man that is truly a work of art!! Nice video!! Good info

RWalters6986: I have the Jetfire (Transformers) version and I don't know if you've tried it or not but mine can transform also into the "Guardian" mode with just the arms deployed and the legs flipped forward with the wings folded out (as seen in the drxxavier clip). Sadly, I lost a few parts from mine as I don't have the gun cannon or the clip-on parts that came with mine. The version you have is pretty cool looking too.

Yikes that's an old macross chunky monkey re-release. You really need to drop anything labeled robotech and get a yamato macross 1/60 vf-1a cannon fodder, same valk color and model but miles more detailed and accurate.

your dad must be pretty cool if he collects Valkyries/Veritechs, got me an original VF-1J and GBPS Armour system and a boxed Jetfire, if you like this you should try and look up ORGUSS the Orgroid is a sweet mech, even if it isnt a recognizable object like a jet, it is a good 'sequel' to these things...awsome review!

Personally I never really liked hasbro's 1/55 lineup simply because I have a wierd infatuation with an opening cockpit with removable pilot, for your next review you should get a yamato 1/60 valkyrie, vf-1s in rick hunter's color is the cheapest and my personal favorite.

havent seen too many of the Lt. Jones fighters from the Macross story line of Robotech..I have 5 of the masterpiece Valkyries. I believe they were made by Toynami..not sure if thats Bandai or what...but for $60 each they a nice toy anyways

Well i would agree... but I have one question. it isnt attack but I never saw Macross as none of this didnt exist in England, or not where I am anyways. Takatoku made the original figures. They were bought out by Bandai. Bandai currently makes (relatively) cheap, durable but (agan, relatively) low-detail versions of the figures intended to be used as toys. Yamato makes insanely detailed and expensive versions to be used as display pieces and collector's items.

I really want to get at least one or two more though...Im currently trying to track down a VF-1S(Roy Fokker) so i can review it and that one is the exact one that hasbro used for Jetfire when the made him part of the original G1 lineup! glad you like the vids Mike!
