in my washer theres this big ring that goes around the front rubber i think can u tell me where it goes and how the rubber goes on or make a detailed video about it thx
Using regular detergent causes high suds levels, which promote slipping and sliding and results in reduced cleaning, leave soap residue in the line as well as suds lock.
HE detergent promotes friction which results in better cleaning and does not leave soap residue. If you see suds, as in this video you have used way too much detergent, as well as the wrong type for HE machines. HE machines use minimal water and detergent will not be removed from the clothing.
I think the washing machine is talking to me. Does the background music come with the machine? Just bought this, so I'm actually learning something despite the freaky voice.
I just bought this washer and I agree you don't have to use that much detergent. I actually use 1/3 of the normal amount as recommended. On smaller loads, yes the vanes are somewhat too small...however it eventually does make it tumble. I have had that problem with sheets / pillowcases. I just put them in a normal cycle with other clothes and then dry separately. Overall I am satisfied.
There are three problems with this video: 1) He didn't unfold the sheets at all and therefore they won't clean properly and throughly. 2) I have a HE washer and I know that he used WAY too much detergent or not a HE detergent. 3) The sheets are just gliding around the washer and not actually tumbling...he should of unfolded them or added more clothes to get it tumbling and clean.
And no he did not use alot a maytag man said as long suds are in near middle of glass door where see clothes washin is okay.....as long suds not pass the top where can't see anythin ....then its over full of suds and soap use HE for front loaders only
I can't stand seeing (and hearing) hem constantly change direction when agitating. Seems very inefficient and wearing on the motor having to repeatedly start, which is the worst thing for an electric motor. It also makes it take longer to complete a cycle.
Thanks for this review! Wondering how this type of machine can get clothes so clean without an agitator (like the top loading machines)? It seemed like your garment was just sitting in one spot during the wash cycle.
The tub's tumbling vanes are WAY TOO SHORT and stubby. These barely provide the necessary "lift" required of any good front-loader. That's why clothes "sit' in the tub, therefore the rotation speed should be increased slightly to compensate for that.
This person put too much detergent in the washer for what was being washed. Also, if that was HE detergent, it shouldn't sud up that much. I've used a front loader for nearly 10 years, and haven't had to deal with excessive suds like that. I also have a model that doesn't have the electronic circuitboards on it either, which I like. Maybe that's why mine has lasted so long.
Your washer sure shows a lot of suds!!! Are you using the right detergent. I mean, are you using the "HE" detergent. My front load washer never has this much suds. I don't think I get as much water either...I have a Duet. Looks like it really would get clothes clean. How long have you had it now. Any complaints?

Just so ya know, a bed sheet is regularly washed in hot water, and in a heavy cycle.
Celiecinema1 2 years ago
The sheet isn't tumbling properly because you only put in one item. You need to add more wash stuff to make it tumble to get all the laundry clean.
justinsvidz 2 years ago
Oh, this guy must have used way too much detergent or non-high efficiency detergent; it isn't suppose to sud up so high like that.

@SpeedyTase
And, those front loaders don't work too well if there's too much suds.
This can cause a "suds lock" condition on some machines.

the reason the clothes aren't tumbling properly is not the baffles in the drum, it is WAY too much detergent or not low sudz /HE detergent.

you used way to much soap for that sheet, shouldn't be that many suds.
were you stoned when taping this?

you should have washed a larger load to show the cleaning ability of the washer.
