  • Bullshit! Saturated fat is GREAT for you as long as you eat it in the absence of high carbohydrate, sugary, starchy foods. The minute you combine loads of fat with tons of sugar and starches is when the meal turns deadly. Eat lots of fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds, and good natural fats (preferably from grass-fed animals, extra virgin coconut oil, fatty fish, etc...) and you'll live free of heart disease. It's the starchy, sugary, fiber-stripped foods and trans fats that are killing us.

    Refined fats, like trans-fat, high amounts of refined (omega-6) polyunsaturated fat, and refined saturated fat kill the heart.

    And refined carbs do it too: Processed wheat and sugar are big contributers. Eat the above together and you'll get plaque.

  • In Nov 2005 after doing chest exercises (1ge 53) I realized from symptoms I had hardened arteries. I also sensed aneurysm on right subclavian artery. I wanted no invasive surgery, but didn't want to die. A dentist once told me lemon juice can destroy teeth enamel. I reasoned the citric acid can put into solution substances even harder than calcium. I juiced 2 large lemons daily till 340 were used, added nonsweetened water and drank. My arteries were left with NO symptoms & NO aneurysm.

  • @skirts365 Linus Pauling is a big advocate of megadoses of vitamin C. I'm sure lemon is high in it.
