Hey, check out my video. If you don't believe in secession, then you believe in slavery, for you are for enslaving people to a government that they want no part of:
Beautiful Place and gardens. Has an observitory for star watching. There are many events held on the lower parcial of land. Trouble is it cost an arn and a leg to get into any. No child or seinor discounts Only for the rich I guess. Who owns the property now?
Robert Todd Lincoln was, for many years, an executive with the Pullman Company (railroad). He inherited a fortune from his mother, even though she believed she was poor she left a sizeable estate. As the only surviving Lincoln son, Robert got it all. He and his wife purchased Hildene when they were up in years and their children were grown. He died here in 1926. The last direct descendant of Abraham Lincoln died in 1985. He was the grandson of Robert Todd Lincoln.
Robert Todd Lincoln started out as a lawyer, but later became an executive for the Pullman Company. He also served as Secretary of War and Ambassador to the Court of St. James in England. Not only did he earn a very good living for himself and his family, he also inherited his mother's sizeable estate when she died.
I know, this was my very first video with my parents shiny new camcorder when I was like 14. Figures! I regret putting in the music I did and woulda went something acoustic at least, but you learn over time!
I haven't been on in a while so I couldn't respond very fast! Anyway I don't think he did because he did die in Ford Theatre not long after the Civil War.
Yeah your talkin about Lincoln that night he was killed in Fords but he died in the Peterson house. Mary was not with him at the time of death. I think Robert "Bob" died in Vermont though
Ya the music was just horrid.. no reason for it. really kills the video

I was here in April 08...every last member of the Lincoln family is gone now from the planet...kinda creepy.
Robert Lincoln definitely had a perfect vision...in perfect VT.

Lovely home in beautiful, idyllic, Manchester Vt. What is with the music? You should be playing some chamber music or old Cat Stevens songs. C'mon.
