@4Berlin exactly, but many fans wont accept this. for one reason or another people actually say lucas is our most consistent player this year... i even read someone said ''lucas is brilliant. he never makes mistakes''... I would rather have Spearing instead of Lucas

Lucas may be very consistent but he doesen't have those briliant moments in which he really shows his class... Consistent but just average. Yeah maybe one should try Spearing more often or look for another player outside the club. But they need to do something on that position.

I think Gago may be a very realistic transfer in summer, could be interesting for both sides! But I'd really like to see another German player, too: Christian Träsch. If Stuttgart will be relegated in the end of the season he could be interesting, too. In the end it's up to the officials and hopefully they notice, that Lucas is not the best option. ;)

I tell ya what mate, all these fans who say Lucas is class and should be given a new contract, i gurantee you if we where offered Xabi Alonso or Mascherano back for Lucas tomorrow, they would all push him out the door. Xabi Alonso or Mascherano for Lucas?! DEAL! ;) Well in that moment, there should be no doupt even for those "Lucas-fans". Maybe Mascherano is not that unrealistic, so long he isn't that lucky in Barcelona. I'd like Xabi Alonso to come back even more but this is absolutely impossible I think. He was a great player for Liverpool.

Gotta love the German central midfielders. The composure, the passing, the tackling, the fighting spirit, the awareness, security, and heavy lead feet to fire home. Didi was among the top men of these, of which would improve any team at any time. I'm a Liverpool fan but I remember one of the greatest goals I've seen, Didi for Newcastle vs. Man utd. He just dribbled past two players and thundered it in the corner. Great man.
