I appreciate what araretreat is doing with this vid in exposing the witnesses for their lack of reason. However, their is no logic in the Bible and the Scriptures are filled with contradictions. One of these being the Faith vs. Works dilemma among many (Over 190 in the New Testament alone). The reason why so many denominations exist is because the Scriptures do not even agree with themselves. The believer who dies today goes immediately into the presence of God.

Part 2: The watchtower is teaching that door to door preaching is the identifier of the true religion. This is not a Bible teaching. The Bible does not specify how disciples are to preach. For the watchtower to say that Jesus commanded us to preach door-to-door is untrue.

The Watchtower Bible and Tract Society has never given a specific date as to when the end of the world has come. Rather, they have mentioned that the world is living in a period of time called the last days. Never giving a specific date in which the end will come. And the religion actually does encourage free thinking. It encourages its members to seek out truths for themselves in their own Bible's. And trust me the religion didn't turn your friends cold and distant.

Also in their publications they said over and over that the generation of 1914 would NOT pass away before the end came, and that they were getting VERY old now, and the end would come by the end of the century. - Oh, and lets not even talk about when they set the date of 1914 and then 1918 for the end.

The Bible is clear that the Holy Spirit would be with the Chruch from it's establishment with the apostles and would not be broken. As I already mentioned the Church is called the Body of Christ, Bride of Christ, Pillar of Truth etc.

Jesus taught his followers to go from house to house. He wants more people to become disciples. Jehovah's Witness are following Jesus our Lord. Read Acts 5:42, "...from house to house they continued ..declaring the good news about the Christ, Jesus." Acts14:21,"...making quite a few disciples,..." Acts 20:20-"...teaching you publicly and from house to house." Jesus commands his disciples to make more disciples. READ Matthew 28:19,20-"Go therefore and make disciples of people..."

JWs believe Jesus Christ is not God. Rather, he is Michael the archangel. The Holy Spirit is not a person, but an "active force." J.W.'s are unitarians, denying the Trinity. When you're dead, you're dead. Man has no eternal soul, any more than animals. Jesus Christ was not raised bodily from the grave, but was recreated as a new "spirit body." Jesus returned invisibly in 1914. There is no "visible coming" planned in the future. There is no hell. Just like animals, when we die, it is over.

I appreciate what araretreat is doing with this vid in exposing the witnesses for their lack of reason. However, their is no logic in the Bible and the Scriptures are filled with contradictions. One of these being the Faith vs. Works dilemma among many (Over 190 in the New Testament alone). The reason why so many denominations exist is because the Scriptures do not even agree with themselves. You could put whatever vowels you want inbetween them. Yah-weh is just a guess on how its pronounced. The Bible does teach that when a person dies their body is laid to sleep but the Bible teaches that the Spirit of the person remains conscious. The unbeliever they will go to Hades (Luke 16) to await the resurrection (Jn. 5:29) and the judgment of the wicked at the end of the 1,000 year reign of Christ (Revelation 20:5-15). The believer who dies today goes immediately into the presence of God.

The Watchtower Bible and Tract Society has never given a specific date as to when the end of the world has come. Rather, they have mentioned that the world is living in a period of time called the last days. Never giving a specific date in which the end will come. And the religion actually does encourage free thinking. It encourages its members to seek out truths for themselves in their own Bible's. And trust me the religion didn't turn your friends cold and distant.

Perhaps any JW might explain their theology of the Cross for me. JWs reject Christ's divinity - despite gospels pointing to his Godship (he forgave sin, did miracles in his OWN name, was worshipped etc).
So, if Christ ISNT God incarnate, God sacrificed someone else This is the action of a vengeful god who demands to be appeased (like Baal who demanded human sacrifice). But if Jesus IS divine, then God sacrificed himself - in Jesus - an ultimate act of love and more in tune with scripture.

There is validity to what he speaks regarding faith, remember the evildoers that was on the stake with Christ, one turn to him and asked to be remembered once Jesus arrive in his paradise, and Jesus told him "you will be with me in paradise". What works did this "evildoers" perform to obtain life in paradise???? None his faith in Jesus was what gained him life not his works which could be concluded to be evil.

Also, the catholic church has a lot of things wrong. First of, Jesus did not die on a cross (research it), the bible doesn't talk about a place where people suffer everlasting torture (do some research). The Bible is clear that the Holy Spirit would be with the Chruch from it's establishment with the apostles and would not be broken. As I already mentioned the Church is called the Body of Christ, Bride of Christ, Pillar of Truth etc.

Read Acts 5:42, "...from house to house they continued ..declaring the good news about the Christ, Jesus." Acts14:21,"...making quite a few disciples,..." Put voted dislike because this was disturbing to watch. I believe this is going on and we as individuals must find truth for yourself. We need to stay away from making a graven image. An image where we create a God in our mind to suit the way we think how God should be. If you really want to know the Truth, get on your knees, repent of your sins, ask Jesus to come into your heart. It's interesting how the MASONICALLY founded Jehovah's Witnesses has the same sort of ties many PROTESTANT religions do. Most of the Protestant sects of the 16 and 1700s had Jewish funding or support because they detracted from Catholic doctrines, particularly belief in Christ as God, or the Holy Trinity as God. But now let me clear up a misconception that had its origins in the writings of that idiot Paul. Again the establishment of a new covenant was an addition to it so that the people could through repentance, charity and prayer could in fact return one day and get it right. In Jeremiah the covenant of the Lod with Israel is described and he talks about how God was a husband unto them. But now lets look what Paul did with this verse. Paul ADDS HIS OWN WORDS and says (instead of I was a husband to them) (Jews) I REGUARDED THEM NOT!!! He lied about the scripture people! Look in any translation you want. Why do you say this? There is much PROPHETIC Scriptural support in the OT for God's NEW COVENANT. Acts of the Apostles goes into much detail regarding what really went on during Peter and Paul's and the rest of the apostles' ministry. They were all getting into BIG trouble for confessing and teaching in the name of YESHUA/Jesus Christ the atoning Lamb of God.
